Really nice product and exactly serves the purpose that we have for it. Looks great with vinyl windows such that you almost don't notice it is there at all. Now if it could just clean up all the fur...The unit installs in a few minutes. I did not use the enclosed weather stripping as it is not that cold here yet but might put it in when winter comes. Either way you have a hole in your house so it is not going to be "weather tight". To me it is worth it for the convenience. I also did not use the sash lock that was included as I did not want to drill into my window frame. Instead I had a white metal bar from an old project that I exactly cut to length and fit it in as a bar lock. Works great and you can't even see it there as it blends with the frame.

I am very pleased with this purchase. We did have to cut it down a little on each side to fit in the the small window that we have. We knew this before we bought it. The only problem I have is the the door lock. It seems to be very loose. I think our cat could lock or unlock it if she plays with it. Our other cat door the lock is very tight, and you can hear it click on and off. I have a piece of duct tape on it to keep it unlocked.
