Great Rack for Spare Tires with Covers

We purchased this rack for use on a Chevy Tracker & Jeep Liberty. We wanted something that would be able to slip on/off without alot of tools and be able to be mounted on either SUV that we own without alot of hassle.Both spare tires have covers and we wanted something that did not require mounting to one of the bolts holding on the spare tire.This rack has been used several times in the last month and works great.Another review on here stated they received the rack with just plain arms for sitting the bike on. Ours did come with the plastic cradles and rubber straps shown in the present picture of the rack and which are the newer model. (part# SR1-SA2)The rack has remained tight on the spare tire ever since the original mounting. The only cons we noticed and this was mentioned on another review was that we did notice a small amount of rust after only a few days on the tightening bolts threads. Other than this, the rack has performed as expected and we would recommend this rack for anyone who has multiple vehicles with outside spare tires and might want to change the rack to the either vehicle without alot of hassle.

Be careful to not buy older version

I just purchased the SR1, as advertised here on Amazon and on Hollywoodracks.com. However, it is NOT the one in the photos on either site. The one in the photos has, I discovered, support arms that are new for 2007. Their part number is SR1-SA2 and they have the cradle and rubber straps to set the bike frame in. The prior support arms simply have a dip in the arm where you set the frame, so you have to figure out some other way to keep the bike from bouncing off the support arms. That part number is SR1-SA.Apparently Hollywood Racks did not think to distinguish the new from the old model because they are both SR1. So, be careful what you buy because I'm not sure there is a way to tell which you are getting unless you open the box, since the model number is the same for both. (Looks like a convenient "mistake" that allows Hollywood to unload older merchandise on consumers!)As to how the bike rack works -- not sure I'm going to even keep it, so can't say yet.

Works great with my devices and TV

First, the picture shown (as of today) is not what you are getting. The current picture I see looks like an HDMI switch.The box I received has 5 component inputs on the back and one input on the front. It has two component outputs on the back. Each input and output on the back has your 3 YPbPr component jacks, left/right analog RCA audio jacks, and a digital TOShttp://amzn.com/dp/B000S1CEQ4/?tag={ucomicscom} optical audio jack. The front input is slightly different - it has the same YPbPr component jacks and TOShttp://amzn.com/dp/B000S1CEQ4/?tag={ucomicscom} optical audio jack, but it uses a single 3.5mm headphone jack for analog audio instead of the 2 left/right RCA jacks. If you want to plug in RCA style audio to the front, you'll need a cheap 3.5mm to RCA "Y" cable.The two outputs on the back can be separately controlled. So, you can have input #3 going to output #1 and input #5 to output #2 at the same time. You can also have a single input go to both outputs.The remote has discreet IR codes for power on, power off, all 6 inputs to output 1, and all 6 inputs to output 2 (14 total buttons). So, you people with Harmony remotes and the like are going to love this thing. I use a Harmony remote, and the switch was already in the database and works flawlessly.My biggest concern was how the picture was going to look. After reading a lot of reviews of other switches, I realized these things can be pretty finicky. My inputs are a Comcast HiDef DVR (1080i), Memorex Blu-ray (1080i), Wii (480p), original Xbox (480p and 1080i), and a HiDef Sony Camcorder on the front (1080i). My TV is an older 73" Mitsubishi that supports 480p and 1080i. I use analog audio for the Wii and my camcorder. All the other devices output digital audio, but I route those directly through my receiver instead of this switch. I'm thinking of throwing a HiDef Slingbox on output 2 of the switch, so I might end up routing all audio through the switch.I haven't noticed any issues at all with the picture - no flickers, no sync/lock problems, and no lags in switching inputs. The thing I'm most happy about is that I'm not noticing any degradation of picture quality. It might be there (sort of the nature of the beast with component video), but for me it is minor enough that I'm not seeing it.Anyway, your mileage may vary. I have another TV in the house that has really touchy component inputs. Even stuff directly connected to it with good cables sometimes freaks it out. I could see adding a switch to that thing would just cause it more grief.

Hassle-free switch, Excellent value

I bought this as an upgrade from the smaller 3x1 version. The immediate need was to split or switch the optical audio signal to have it go to my receiver and the base station for my IR surround sound headphones.It actually simplified my AV set-up a little. I use it to switch between a Tivo HD, Motorola set-top box, Sony DVD player, a PS3, and an Apple TV. It's been hassle-free since the day I set it up.It is completely compatible with my Logitech Harmony remote. The remote codes are already in the Harmony system (although Harmony for some reason refers to blue and red buttons instead of the green and red buttons on the IA remote).I use the IA remote only when I need to switch the second output for my headphones.This will do quite nicely until AV receiver manufacturers catch up with market and start making reasonably-priced receivers that can switch five or six (or more) HD component video or HDMI inputs and have one or two optical audio outputs.

It would've been awesome if it worked with my TVs

This had all the features I was looking for and functioned just as described.The problem was when there was too much movement/quick transitions on the screen the picture would go blank and the sound cut out from half a second up to five seconds. At first I thought it was only during fast paced action shots, but then later, watching CNN HD, when they'd transition between stories and bring up graphics quickly it would also cut out. I called their tech support and they asked me if I had certain Sony TVs since they'd heard of this before with them. My TVs are all Samsung. The DLP it worked perfect on, the two LCDs I tried gave varying degrees of the issue. They said to return it since there was nothing they could do. I was just unlucky enough to have a TV that lost sync with it.See this link for technical details about what was happening (the part about "DC restoration"): [...]So, if your TV(s) work with it it's a really nice unit, but if they don't, you'll probably want to return it. Amazon was great about the return, sent UPS to my door the next morning to pick it up and put the prepaid shipping label on the box. Other than this issue, the picture and sound was very close to, if not the same, quality as the original. The price was good, too.

Very good rifle!

After getting stomped into the ground by players with better airsoft guns than ours, my son and I bought two of these rifles. Shipping was fast and flawless. The guns themselves are excellent looking, and are very very close to the look and handling of the real thing.The performance of these guns is AMAZING. The guys we were playing with made the mistake of allowing my son and me to be on the same team (only at first). WE OWNED THEM ALL! With .2gram b-b's these guns shoot every bit as straight as any airsoft sniper rifle we've seen, and at least as far.When the battery gets low, the semi-auto mode starts to get intermittent. While we are on the subject of the batteries, the one it comes with is marginal, and the charger does not tell you when the battery is fully charged. There are no instructions with the gun that explain any of the charging procedures. Later I did find a note on the shipping label on the outside of the box that indicated not to charge the battery over 4 hours. (I had already done this). The factory battery was now toast. I bought more batteries and a smart charger; Now nothing we've played against can match this outstanding gun! I recommend spare magazines, especially the 300 round hi-capacity ones.This gun has a metal HD barrel that feels real, metal sights, metal magazine, and a very tough synthetic everywhere else. Excellent gun!

Great gun; few shortcomings

This is a pretty good gun. I haven't tried it in a match yet, but the power and rate of fire seem pretty good so far. One thing that bothered me was the fact that semi-automatic mode wouldn't work very well. If I didn't pull the trigger all the way back (which sometimes I might not do by mistake when firing quickly) the gun will jam and I have to fire a few shots in full auto mode to get it working in semi-auto again. Also, I thought the sights would be included, but they weren't. So you may need to buy them separately.

If you're into the European game craze the way my husband and I are, then go ahead and have no fear adding this one to your shelf. What we especially enjoy is the fact the game can be played within 45 min. once everyone is familiar with the rules. If you're not into long drawn out games, but still like the strategy-driven games, then Vikings is for you! I gave this to my husband for Christmas and we enjoyed playing it with family members.

Easy to learn and enjoyable

This games delivers what it promises on the box cover: at about one hour you can play a complete game.The rules are very simple and explained brilliantly in a very well designed rules book. Components are also top notch.It is for four players maximum.Beware that this is no "blood battle" game. It's really a fun and family game, and also a very good gateway game intro to Eurogames strategy games.I highly recommend it.

Hooray to a new game!

I bought this game for my mom for Christmas this year. My family has always enjoyed playing traditional board games like Monopoly or Clue . . . whereas my husband and I tend to play Settlers of Catan, Carcossone, Dominion, etc. I hoped she would like it since we're descended from Vikings- and she did! My mom and sister play it regularly and it's transitioned her to play Settlers with me.

The table is beautiful and sturdy. The problem is that both the table and chair are too small for my 4 y.o. dtr. The info provided re: the table and chair was not clear about the dimensions. My husband and I are trying to figure out how we can modify the set to accomodate her (normal)size. I think the set is best for a child 3 and under :(

Fits great on 2010 Chrysler 300 Touring

Because of the description of this item, it took quite a few phone calls to find out if this would fit my 2010. I finally spoke with Xenon directly and they assured me that it would fit so I went for it and they were right.Brought it to my body shop to have it painted and installed. Looks great on my car...very happy with the product. Body shop did say they would not use the tape included and would use a stronger type - just for extra measure.

Great product/bad packaging

We received this bike rack in just over a week's time. The rack was pretty simple to assemble in a few minutes. It held our 4 bikes fine and had a little room left over to "park" a couple scooters. All the holes lined up upon assembly, but it did rock a bit once the whole thing was put together, but that could have been due to the uneven surface of the concrete floor of our garage. So, all in all, it is a solution to our tumbled assortment of bikes in the garage.I was not, however, pleased with the packing of the pieces of the rack. The curved sections of the rack were wrapped in a plastic sleeve, but no attention was paid to the sharpish edges of the tubing, which poked through the box, leaving a gaping hole. I immediately assumed that there must have been something missing, but there wasn't (lucky me!).If packaging was more thoughtful, I would rate this product 5 stars.....

Wonderful, affordable Madame Alexander doll

I got this doll at a great price for my six year old daughter and I'm very impressed with most aspects. The clothing is excellent, the hair styles and combs easily, and she's just the perfect size for carrying around without being overwhelming to little arms. Her hair roots could have been better but for the price I paid I have no complaints. Her eyes open and close easily. I had Madame Alexander dolls as a child, so it's nice to be able to tell my daughter about my doll. Surprisingly, this doll looks amazingly similar to my daughter, but unlike the other reviewer that said the eyes are blue, ours came with brown eyes just like my daughter. The outfit is precious that she comes dressed in. They're bloomers, a t-shirt, booties, and a bunny eared jacket. She also comes with a dress and a blanket as well as a comb, brush, and mirror. I highly recommend this toy as a donation to toys for tots or as a gift.

Blue-eyed baby

When my granddaughter opened this doll she screamed with delight and said "You look like me and you go nite nite." (The doll eyes open and close.) My granddaughter is blond hair and blue eyed and the doll does look like her. Later in the evening when she was in her bed she was rocking her baby and saying "I love you just like Mommy loves Taylor. That is me, I am Taylor." Hope you have as great an expierence as we did with this doll. Taylor also told the doll, "You my baby not a bunny." Taylor likes the rabbit ears but not on the "Baby."

Great doll!

The Madame Alexander My Little Girl Bunny Hop doll was purchased for our 6-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves this doll. The doll, blanket, clothing is first class and the doll has a beautiful face. It is well worth the cost. It far exceeds any other doll on the market.

pretty good bike rack

We purchased the 5-bike rack and it is working out pretty well. It is challenging to get all the bikes on the rack only because of the way they make bike frames these days, but you can adjust the rack to hold the bike up in any different number of ways because of extra connecting straps and supports. The company sent the flag (which wasn't included in the original packaging)after we called their 800 number quickly and free of charge. The only problem with the rack is that when you travel on gravel or dirt roads, it bounces around quite a bit. Overall, it is a great product.

Spend the extra $70 for the 520

The 9200 is an inferior version of the 520. I ordered the $169 HR9200 first and was dissapointed with the amount of sway, the lack of ability to use a locking mechanism to affix it to the car and the lack of straps that come with it.I sent the 9200 back and am quite happy even though I had to eat the $25 return mail fee. It is definitely more heavy duty..I think it weighs 15-20 pounds more than the 9200. The anti-sway of the 9200 just didn't cut the mustard.

Bike Rack

This is a great item for the bike enthusist. It fit right in a standard hitch and was very easy to use. It was able to hold 5 mountain bikes with ease the only problem was when one of the bikes is for a female you can still use with ease it just takes a little more time to secure.
