Wedding Gift Extraordinaire

I'm delighted to be able to give this as a wedding gift. Since it's a second marriage for both, they are combining two households and really have no need for the more traditional wedding gifts. I'll fill it with gourmet goodies and a Picnic cookbook, and tie some white ribbons around the handles and that will do it.As always, Amazon's service is the best. In addition, I'm pleased with the quality, the size, the double interior compartments to separate wet and dry, and the included tableware. The photo doesn't show it well, but there are large flat pockets on the ends, and a pouch type pocket on the front -- plenty of room to organize the extras.It is a little heavy, especially when food is added. However, I shied away from the model with wheels -- perhaps it would be fine for an urban picnic, but looks very impractical over rough terrain. Fortunately the groom is strong! And though I hope there will be a few romantic picnics for two in their future, choosing a picnic set with service for 4 made better sense to me as there are 2 children in the family. It also will give them the opportunity to invite another couple along for a picnic. I hope they like it as much as I do!

Fantastic item!

We have taken our basket with us to a Twilight Talk Story in Hawaii. The insulation kept the beer bottles cold and the white wine chilled. The dishes are wonderful to use, as is the silverware and plastic wine glasses.We couldn't have asked for more. Compact, smart-looking and cost effective. Only negative is that the salt and pepper shakers look the same. Perhaps one could be white and the other black??

I own this guitar, but did not purchase it from Amazon. Found it at another store on closeout for $999.99. Was a little worried as to why it was marked down so much, but it turned out to be cosmetic issues that don't bother me.The guitar in one word - Astounding.I also own a standard american series strat from 2000, which was my main guitar for years. Comparing the 2, i found subtle differences that make the 62' reissue a true players guitar.First - The neck - It's my favorite part of this guitar. 9.5"+ radius. Seriously, that extra "+" makes all the difference. Standard 9.5" radius feels good in my hands, but this fits like a glove. Combine it with the satin finish on the neck and it's really a no brainer.Second - The Pickups - Vintage/Modern, which at first I was like, "Yeah, yeah Fender whatever you need to say to sell stuff" But after playing this guitar for 2 years those pickups are incredible. Depth & tone - if you can't find a sound you like on this guitar, go try a different instrument. Honestly unless you like to mod your guitar with say "Lollar Pickups", a couple capacitors and 3 months of fine tuning these "Vinatge/modern" pickups with handle everything you've got to give. I've played it through my Orange Tiny Terror amp, as well as an original 61' Fender Tremolux - Trust me it will love Hi-Gain distortion just as much as it loves treble & reverb. It's so versatile - i'm a bit of a fan boy...sorryThird - The finish on this guitar is slightly different from the rest of their lines. It's a thin Nitrocelluose (misspelled probably) finish, which means your guitar gets to age like the old school guitars you see now. The top color begins to blend with the aging/thining cellulose finish and it takes on new tones. I'm excited to think what it's going to look like in 20 years....Fourth - I throw in the not so good. -Hardware - Honestly there not that bad, but the tuning pegs are "vintage". This makes it hard to string the instrument sometimes and their tuning ratio (feels like 16:1) is similar to a lot of $100 guitars. A similar minor frustration can also be found with the floating tremolo. Unless you pay to get your guitar "setup" it might take a bit of tweeking to get the tremolo & the string saddles grooving together. - Annoying, but minor. I could complain about the cosmetic defects, but I got it for way less than list price.Lastly - I forgot to mention the awesome case it comes with. Huge rectangular - Crushed orange velvet on the inside. Leather holding straps , key lock. All sorts of goodies, including an extra tremolo spring! - Anyways if you play strats and you always think that something is just a little off with them, this guitar might just be the fix for you.Seriously I don't think I'll ever find another one better - Unless I spend mad $$$$ on a custom Griffon.Buy it, you'll love it. If you don't I'll buy it from you :-)

This is a great guitar. Great sounding and well made, feels great in the hands and has made learning guitar a fantastic experience. Delivery from Amazon to Australia to took 4 1/2 days (which was outstanding!) and the price was also brilliant. I heartily recommend this guitar and Amazon in general!

Great Sounding Guitar,

I mostly play Gibson's. This is the one Fender I own and it is a gem. They did not try to do too much with this ax. It is in every respect wiring tape, wire routing and tuning pegs,the barbaric unevenly inserted slotted screws holding the tremolo springs. Besides the serial number it's identical to a original 1962. The sound is so warm and deep. I thought all Strats sounded alike but there is wide variance. I compared it to a <7lb plywood Korean Squire which is a fine example of a Squire. The Hot Rod sounded much cleaner, deeper with longer sustain. The best sounding non-custom shop Strat there is. 4 years ago when I pick mine from the dozens of Strats at GC the price was $2000 + $50 for the burst finish. At this price if your budget can handle it, in this economy get this ax. I would try to find one used. To be honest I cringed when I saw used ones on CL for $1200. Always play it first. I played a several different examples and they all sounded similar but different nuances. Always play a guitar before you buy it.

Very good quality for the price

Unit comes pretty much as described, but with the addition of plenty of mounting screws for your equipment (both US and European) - A nice touch that is not given anywhere in the product description. The steel is of a fairly hefty gauge and the unit feels nice and solid. My one concern is that I could not find a rating on weight with the product or online, but it seems like it could handle a hundred pounds or so ok. I personally did not have any issues with the hole sizes that other reviewers have had, but could see a cross-thread happening very easily. It took all of 10 minutes to assemble with the surprisingly nice screwdriver that comes included. Mounting support brackets could be a bit of problem as there is no obvious place to attach them, but this isn't really meant for more heavy duty applications. I can easily recommend this item for light to medium duty rack mounting, especially for what you get for the price.

Great Protection

I purchased this case for my Behringer PMP6000 Powered Mixer to protect it from damages while being moved from one venue to another. I'm a professional musician & the last thing my band would need is having one of our main pieces of gear for the PA System get damaged. No, this is not an anvil roa case however, it does exactly what I need it to do. I knew I bought the case larger than the PMP6000 but, after doing some very minor alterations the case firmly holds the mixer & I have the additional space to store the speaker cables, extra connectors, mixer light along with other items that go along with this portion of our PA. The "butterfly locks" securely keeps the case closed with no room for failure (such as the case popping open while in transit); the pull out handle & wheels are a bonus & the unit is generally strong enough to handle any possible damage while keeping our gear safe.

Awesome item

I purchased this for my husband. I wasn't too sure because I am not drum savy. It was a major hit with him and our sons. The sound is fantastic and resonates a few seconds. Impressive and Expressive

I have had the PA50 for over 4 years and it is still a joy to play. The sounds are top-knotch and the accompying styles are mostly very entertaining. The styles are very professional and most do not sound canned. Hook up to a quality PA system and one person can sound like a full band. It is very useful for creating new music...pick a style and a sound and use your imagination to create a riff or an entire new song. Most likely not for a beginner, there is a lot going on, but if you know how to play, this is a great keyboard to have fun with. The built-in speakers sound fine and produce a modest loundness. Fantastic for the price

I've been playing for about 15 years and this is the 6th acoustic I've owned after Epiphone, Fender, Aria, Johnson, Jasmine and this is definitely the best. It has a very smooth sound, plays very comfortably. The built in tuner is nice, but it's not a great tuner. I wouldn't recommend using it before recording or playing live, but it gets you close enough if you're just playing. The built in EQ is fair, but like the tuner isn't the best.Thats the only drawbacks so far - the electronic element. It also includes a XLR input for going right into a PA which is very handy. The guitar itself is great. Picked it up from Guitar Center for $350 about 6 months ago and it's definitely worth it. It stays in tune after hours of playing which is very nice. Dean never impressed me with their electrics, but I would definitely buy an acoustic from them again.

Great sounding guitar for the price

I bought this guitar for my daughter for Christmas and couldnt be happier with it. After playing several guitars in the $200-300 price range this one sounded the best by far. It is some serious eye candy as well. It has rich bass & clear highs and sounds great for a laminate top guitar. It's sound does not compare to a quality solid spruce top guitar, but it is several hundred dollars less expensive than a solid top guitar. Playability is nice out of the box and it has stayed in tune with no issues. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice sounding, well built, new guitar for less than $300.

Great looking for price, not much punch

I bought this on sale from Amazon and it is gorgeous and has a lot of features. Playability is good but not great.Sound is definitely weak and lacks brilliance but plugged in sounds good. Tuner is very nice feature. Did I say Gorgeous? Its worth the money, but I expected a little more volume from a fairly full sized guitar. Overall a good value.

Rips, but stopped working just past 1 year

This was purchased as a gift for me last Christmas. I play a fair amount of 80s, 90s alt and hard rock and thought the wah and distortion would be a cool combo. Speaking of combo, I play it with my peavey vypyr 30 combo amp. It has a very cool distortion to the wah sound, but it is easy to get this thing to wail, and not in a good way. Get your settings correct, and it wails in a VERY FREAKIN' AWESOME way. I'm no guitar virtuoso, but I've impressed the peeps I play with when I plugged this in and ripped through a solo we're all familiar with. The added texture and scream to the wah really enhances a killer solo riff.I don't really use it that often and it rests on the floor next to my mic stand or in my gear/cable storage bag. It has lived a very cushy life for just past 1 year.Bad news...it just stopped working. I haven't used it in 2 months and was playing tonight. One moment all is cool, next, no blue light, no sound. nada. I've emailed Dunlop tech support. I can't find anything physically wrong with it. I've used it 90% with the appropriate dunlop power adapter. Tried using batteries to see if the power adapter went bad...no dice. For something so heavy, that has had no stage use, not molestation and no abuse of any sort...I absolutely do not think it should quit like it did. I really anticipated this thing lasting forever. If it still worked it deserves a 4.5 star review. I've read on several review sites that this wah has had some reliability issues. If i'm taken care of by Dunlop...I'd increase my rating, if not...I'd have to give it a 1.5. It was $169 when purchased for me on Amazon. That is a rip off for something that has been used ~12 times (about $13/use - not good price per use!!)UPDATE: heard back from tech support - there is a 12 month warranty on dunlop pedals. I had to downgrade my rating because something the lists for $298, hits the street between $130-$170 and lasts 1 month beyond the manufacturer's warranty is not reliable or worth it. They'll fix it for $50 (+shipping to them) Very hard to recommend. -updated UPDATE: tech support @dunlop contacted me and said they'd take care of my pedal, I just need to ship to them since it was just out of warranty. VERY cool of them. I'd say I can crank up my recommendation a notch. my faith in the product lasting a long time is shaky, but I have to say Dunlop customer service is very very cool.

Sent to Dunlop Twice for Faulty Electronics

The potentiometers had to be replaced twice. I don't use this pedal very often, or aggressively even, but they kept failing. Fortunately, they were replaced under warranty. But the fact that they were replaced twice in a year doesn't make me feel very good about this product.As far as quality, I'm hooked up to a combo amp. The wah itself is okay, but with the overdrive function on, it only sounds "good" in the clean channel. Otherwise, combined with any distortion on my amp, it sounds LOUD and horrible. Shrill, explosive, and just plain bad.This is an expensive wah. I'd stick with the basic Cry Baby which you can get for about $70, and forget about the overdrive function in this one. I was really into Slash at the time (and still am), and thought this would help me achieve his tone. Without all the other gear he has, that really isn't going to happen, so I say stick with what you've got and create your own unique tone. My 2 cents.

Slash Wah

This wah pedal is a great wah pedal. It looks cool, is built like a rock, and cuts through during a solo. If you want to sound like slash, this pedal is right for you. This pedal makes you sound exactly like slash. The distortion circuit SUCKS. Dont plan to use the distortion curcuit, or else it screeches. Other than that, it is great. Also, this pedal is a very loud pedal, so it isnt too great for songs where the wah is light. It is pretty versatile, but always loud. it is great for any guns n roses or hard rock songs. Compared to the kirk hammet wah, this sounds a lot more like slash, and has an extremely convinient LED light to know if it is on or off. The kirk hammett was is much more versatile though, and also sounds good for guns n roses, but not too good. I have owned this pedal for around 3 months and I love it.

Best Strap I've ever owned.

I have been using this Mss13 strap on all 4 of my guitars in assorted colors. It's comfy, looks great, & padded, some are 8 years-12 years old. They last & you can move it around when it's on, unlike sued that gets stuck on your shirt when you want to adjust the guitar. Just PERFECT!!!

Keyboard Case

An OK universal case with some drawbacks: It needs TWO handles rather than one in center--keyboards that fit this are too heavy for 1 handle. It does not have enough cushioning in the base where the wheels and back sleds drag over steps; There is not enough storage for pedals and chords. The back "sleds" are made so that they CATCH on stairs and door jambs when being rolled! Need some angle skids to fix this and another handle horizontally at the foot so a follower can help lift the unit when it is towed on wheels. Look for a different case.

Great case!

This is a great case! I got it for my husband who was lugging his keyboard around on his shoulder for far too long. AFter reading lots of reviews I went with this case mostly because it had wheels and was affordable. It is WELL worth the money! It's very well padded and so easy to maneuver. The only complaint is that the pocket on the outside is too small for the music stand thing that attaches to his keyboard. It's not the end of the world but it would be great if that pocket were bigger.

a handful

This is a really strong case but cannot ever be called lightweight. It almost weighs as much as my extremely heavy M-Audio Pro-station 88 keyboard. It could do with more pockets and a handle on the largest surface so that it can be more easily guided when rolling.

Product Description

JVCC NS-2A Premium Non-Skid Tape is a premium 32 mil 60 grit silicone carbide high traction, anti-slip tape. It is a waterproof non-skid tape with an aggressive acrylic adhesive (more permanent than a synthetic rubber adhesive). JVCC Non-Skid Tape is used indoors or out on stairs, pool areas, ramps, work areas, skateboards and garage steps. The 60 grit silicone carbide surface is similar in feel to 60 grit sandpaper therefore it is not appropriate for bare feet. NS-2A complies with OSHA 1910.263(3). Also please note the semi-transparent/translucent color is only partially transparent while the white color is completely opaque. For bare feet please see a rubberized non-skid tape like the ISC 3500 Jessup Safety Track. JVCC NS-2A is not coated with an adhesive that can be submerged or put underwater. So if when applied there is any gaping which would allow water to seep underneath to the underside of the tape water would degrade the adhesive pretty quickly. Widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 150mm wide. In the photo the colors are the following (starting from the leftmost column and working down): Fluorescent Orange, Fluorescent Yellow, Yellow with Black stripes, Orange, Yellow, Black, Red, Grey, White, Blue, Green, Clear/Translucent.

Tape works great, just like it is supposed to. Used it on the edge of wood deck steps and is sticking well to the wood in spite of the rain, snow and cold.

An excellent product!

This tape is exactly as described at Amazon.com and has proven to be very effective and extremely durable. Very strong adhesive back and a very abrasive, almost sandpaper, surface coat. Seems to work well in areas that get rained on too.
