An excellent range hood!

This is a very well-made appliance from a little-known manufacturer. I had my "hired muscle", who's been my mainstay throughout a complete (down to the wall studs) kitchen makeover, help me with mounting this, and it took the two of us about four hours to install it. You MUST have wood blocking between two studs to install the body of the hood on, as it only has two "keyhole" slots 10" apart, and it's too heavy for sheet rock anchors. We were able to insert a 2x4 between studs when we opened the wall up. It comes with a 3' power cord and grounded plug, but I suppose it could be hard-wired (there's no knock-out on the electrical box to accept a cable clamp, though).The telescoping chimney attaches to two steel brackets, which in turn attach directly to the wall, and spiral sheet rock anchors are provided for them (their load isn't as much as the body of the hood). There are venting holes at the top sides of the chimney which are only required if the hood is not ducted (i.e recirculating with a charcoal filter); I don't like how they look, so I'll probably turn that piece upside down and drill new holes for the mounts.Included in the package is a length of 6" flexible aluminum ducting, which should prove adequate for most people's venting needs. We have wait to break through stucco to attach the duct and cap, so I can't test the efficiency by cooking something smoky and greasy (like rib-eye steaks seared in a very hot cast iron pan) yet, but I suspect one of the middle speeds (there are 6) will be all I'll need for most cooking.The touch controls are nice, as are the bright blue displays. The 35 watt halogen lights, though in the back instead of the front, have three brightness settings, and the noise level is about what I expected from a 900 CFM blower (but only the highest setting could be called "loud"). I'm extremely pleased with it, and if you do some online research, you can find it at a very reasonable price, especially when compared to better-known brands with similar features.

I was concerned that I may need a larger view head. This head works for me with my "reader" glasses. The button to turn on the light source is unusual- press and turn. Be sure to turn it off before storing as it is easy to leave on running down the battery.

Perfect!

This watch has everything I've been looking for: white background, very clear precise face, indiglo, waterproof, and of course the look. The previous review scared me thinking it was going to be unusually big, but as someone who has been wearing the same style from Guess, Fossil, etc, it was exactly the size I was expecting... and used to. To me it is not even close to being confused with a man's watch. It is the same size as every other watch I've contemplated buying for the last year, before finally finding this one. And it's perfect!

not what i expected

I requested this watch as an early christmas gift. I researched it on line but never saw it in person...so i've learned my lesson. I found the watch to be bigger in person than it appears on line. That is, it is not a delicate or semi delicate woman's watch. It is more on the clunky side. At first i was convinced they had gotten the wrong one and had accidentally purchased a man's watch. My son convinced me it is too small for a man's watch, but i think you get what i mean. I was also confused on the wrist band. I had emailed timex and been told it was a bracelet style, but actually it is a fold over clasp like you often see on men's watches. So, now i'm hoping it breaks soon --of course it's timex so i'll have it forever. On the plus side, you can certainly see the numbers and i can take a pulse if i need to. Most importantly, it does that indiglo light up thing so i'll always know what time it is in the movie theater. All in all, i'd say the product is more than fine, but the picture is somewhat misleading.

Small handy tool, great light

I am a doctor and needed a small reliable tool to check out middle ears during my travels. I wanted batteries, because I may not be able to recharge the unit. This works, well, good light and you can use it with the bulb and perform procedures through it, not that I want to, but it is good to know that you can. Would do nusiness gain with the seller.

I just put these on my new truck, they went in very easy and look and function great. I would recomend these as good quality, instructions are good that came with the deflectors, the ones (instructions) you see on line not so good but either way no big deal to install, done in 15 minutes.

Second pair!!!

I had these same deflectors on my 2003 GMC extended cab.I actually gave them to my daughter for her Yukon when I traded my 2003 for a 2010 GMC crew cab.They install easily and fit snug without moving around.No adhesive on the front deflectors is great. Just a small strip on the rear windows.I've seen other brands and really am glad I bought the WeatherTechs.

Easy installation, sharp looking

These window deflectors installed in about twenty minutes with no tools (other than fingernails to peel off the rear windows' adhesive backing) The only snag was user error--we got the rear windows backwards. Easily remedied and no harm done. They sleekly fit a 2007 GM Sierra and the windows work perfectly with the deflectors installed.There is considerable noise reduction as an added bonus, in addition to the very nice flow of air created by the tiniest window opening with these things as well as with the window closed.The ease of installation was aided greatly by the video on the manufacturer's website and we're not particularly handy.

Fairly easy replacement

This unit has both the Fuel Pump & Sending Unit for the fuel level, and will fix the inoperable fuel level due to the sending unit wearing out. This is the only way to replace the sending unit since it is integral to the pump assembly (ie, no cheaper fix).This fuel pump and sending unit has been in the car for over 500 miles now with no problems. great price as compared to the dealer. This item meets the OEM Specification and is an exact fit replacement.The wiring harness is different than original due to a design improvement, but even the replacement from the dealer requires the new wiring harness. Recommend also purchasing a new fuel tank lock ring, Spectra Premium Part TR7 or AC Delco TR7, since tho old one may be rusty and get bent on removal.Do some research on your vehicle and you may not need to remove the fuel tank for replacement. My buick has a cover inside the trunk that provides easy acess for replacement.Also, replace the fuel filter while doing this replacement.

A cost effective tool to modernize your kitchen

The product may not be of the same quality as the $2500 and up models. But it looks great and works fine as long as you don't use the higher fan speeds. I had an issue with the cage fan getting banged around in shipping which binded it up. The manufacture sent an whole new fan assembly, however I went ahead and bent the fan back and it worked fine. I now have a spare motor. It takes two to install this unit and be careful with the stainless steel, it will scratch. Also the letters on both side of the display that say cavilaire can come off. I bought this unit for a third of the price of a Bosch so I'm quite happy with it.

But be careful of the ceiling height. Ours is pretty high so the range is far from the countertop. It's painful to purchase the longer chimney from Euro Kichen in CA, slow and hard to reach a live person.
