    5Amazing pedal.
    By Ginger
This pedal has a great texture in the sound quality. It sounds great with both guitars and bass. With the bass the gain can go as hard as u'd ever want to push a bass, and it gives u options on tonal availabilities. Great pedal. I got it for my bass player and now his tone matches the guitars a little better.

Well the guitar is great! I sounds like it should! I just have one bad thing to say, It was sold with an Ibanez hardcase and it has because of that, cosmetic wear. Because the guitar does not fit quite well in this hardcase and it was forced to fit in it.

Isn't it time you get your (headstock) wings?

Dime It The late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean's series of Dimebag models pays homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML style guitars in the late '70s, and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag models to choose from, all boasting Dimebag's distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude.

Basswood Body The Dimeblade features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.

Bolt-On Construction Bolt-on neck construction provides an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it.

The DB's maple neck features an ultra-playable 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, with custom arrow inlays and a DB razor inlay at the 12th fret.

Dean Humbucker Pickups To capture the biting tones of vintage Deans, the company includes two of its standard humbuckers, which provide more than enough bite for modern styles, along with plenty of low-end and midrange definition. The standard three-way selector allows bridge, neck, or a combination. Each pickup gets a volume pot, and they share the tone control.

Grover Tuners If you play guitar then you know what this means--solid, dependable tuning from the industry standard. These tuning machines are a triumph in engineering and style, with a gear ratio of 14:1, perfect gear meshing, and zero backlash and slippage. The gear box has a special lubricant for lifetime, trouble-free service.

Tune-o-Matic Bridge The '79's Tune-o-Matic bridge with string-thru body design provides even more sustain, along with precise intonation for your tuning preference. The classic v-shaped plate mirrors the headstock wings for some nice vintage Dean style.

DBD Traction Knobs Dimebag always rocked his "traction knobs," which he created by taking a soldering iron to them, for knobs that are grippable no matter how much sweat's pouring off you on stage. Dean faithfully recreates that here.

As soon as I opened the package and picked it up, I felt the quality that was put into this guitar. If your thinking it looks tacky and doesnt live up to its price, your wrong. Even with all the factory equipment it performs above the average. Pretty much a solid instrument for whatever your needs. If you like the look, dont stop now, get it. You wont be disappointed.

    5Drummer's Best Friend!!
    By AeroZ
I'm a drummer, and this metronome does everything my other metronome doesn't do. There's little information about the metronome aspect of the product, so I will fill you in with the details :)1. The tempo can range from 20 - 250 beats per minute.2. You can select ANY subdivision you want from 1 to 32. If you want a beat to be subdivided into 7...no problem! 9? 15? 19? no problem. I was looking for this feature EVERYWHERE.3. Volume control can get very low and soft...and the volume can also be controlled to be very loud! There's also an output to headphones.4. Different meters: the metronome will allow you to accent a meter every 1 to 9 beats. If you want, you can also do time signatures that break the beat into multiple pulses like 2:3 (1,2,1,2,3, etc), 3:2 (1,2,3,1,2, etc), 4:3, 4:5, 5:6, 6:7 etc.Overall, the metronome is best for a drummer who is working on odd meters and weird subdivisions. The only thing I haven't figured out, is how to get the metronome to play swung beats...then again, I can just stick to subdividing the beat into 3 or 4 :)

    5Great Product
    By Steve West
This is truly a one-stop practice tool. I play guitar and piano, teach piano, and my kids take piano, guitar and french horn lessons. Both kids use the timer to measure their practice times, and it is pretty easy to set. The stopwatch function is useful for timing recital pieces. The strobe and sweep tuners are great for tuning the guitar, and the strobe tuner is excellent for a horn player. It would have been nice to be able to set the key of the instrument, it is harder for beginning players to transpose to concert pitch. Having a metronome that will subdivide and stress notes with compound meters is a real help, and the reason I bought the metronome. This function works great. This is a device that tries to be all things to all people, and it does a pretty good job of that. The tap and copy functions for identifying a tempo or pitch are useful if you can't do that by ear. There is an adapter available for this, but as I said on the review for that product, you probably don't need it unless your metronome is always going to be in one spot. Then by all means buy one to save on batteries.

    5Wonderfull Practice tool.
    By brian
I love this practice station. I play guitar and use this every night for practise. I use it in conjunction with David Mead's book "Ten Minute Guitar Workout". First I set the timer to track how long i am practising for. Then I use its tuner to tune up. Then I use the metronome to practice scales. Then I use the countdown timer for the 2 minute routines in Mead's book. I used to have four different devices for this. This gadget does it all in one!

    5Wonderful price, Beautiful Guitar...
    By ilovemijob
My son had asked for this exact guitar from one of our local guitar stores...The price was way more than I could spend for one Christmas gift. I started searching online and came across this one...almost half the price and its the exact same guitar. My son was blown away Christmas morning. We have listened to him play his old electric guitar for so long that when I heard the sounds from this guitar I thought it was on the radio. Very clean sound. My son hasn't had one complaint yet. The finish is gorgeous, the case is a large black rectangular semi-hard case...canvas outside, but sturdy shape with a soft suede-like liner inside. I will definitely order from them again.

i bought this just about over a month ago and i am fairly pleased with it. It is a good sounding guitar with decent pickups (that you can always change if you dont like). this is my first guitar so the name (dean) didnt realy mean much to me, i was just more concerned about the quality. overall for the price, the quality is pretty good. there are somethings that i found are poorly made ie. when i replaced the strings i noticed that on the back of the guitar are the holes for the strings to be fed through and they had these little plastic cuplets in the holes to keep the strings from feeding through the wood on the guitar, well dean couldnt have just glued them in cause that would just be too easy so now when you change the strings you have to make sure that you dont loose them. other than that, not too many complaints on it yet. the guitar looks amazing and the volume and control knobs look really cool too. very nice case too. it is definitally a fun guitar to play and i am happy i purchased it..oh and also it IS a fingerprint magnet so you might want to purchase a cloth rag with the guitar.

5Dean Razorback Dimebag Black with case
    By Mike
Let me start by saying my guitar skills are not great. I have been learning a little by little for about 4 years. I have owned a First Act Electric (which I got on sale for $40), an Ibanez GAX 70 (sweet for $120), a Dean Vendetta (another sweet for $120), and now this....my first over $200 purchase for a guitar. I was a bit unsure about it based on reviews from this site. Go to Guitar Center if you want to read reviews that will change your mind like I did.WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW! What a difference!!! When I got mine in the beautiful black 'hardish soft' case (which is much nicer and tougher than I expected) I was blown away. It came delivered very well packaged and safe. This is truly a thing of beauty and a heavy metal axe worthy of the DIME printed on the headstock. Nearly in tune - about 2 minutes with my Snark SN-1 and it was perfect. I needed no adjustments to the bridge or truss rod...nearly perfect action for my style of playing. Finish was nearly perfect with the only blemish to the paint being in between the top jagged part and unseen by anybody but me. The headstock doesn't look like the close-up in the pictures. Look at the pic of the kid holding it and you will see it has the DIME Razorback logo underneath the Dean wings. It came strung with D'Addarios, which I will eventually change to Super Slinkies, but no need for that yet. Neck is straight, extremely smooth and silky. The frets may need a slight filing to be 'awesome', but they are still really nice and aren't sharp or anything to worry about. The neck pick up could be adjusted up a fuzz, but it still plays crunchy and mean. The dual Dean Humbuckers do a great job, and at this price (sub $300 delivered with a case) you will be hard pressed to find better pups in a harder rocking, cooler looking guitar. I know me and I will eventually replace at least one with a Dimebucker or a Seymour Invader to just sound 'freaking ungodly'!! It's safe to say I love this guitar and will be keeping it for a long time. I made the mistake of ordering a hardshell case (Coffin) for this because I am in Afghanistan and I was worried about it breaking. That was money I did not need to spend as the case it came with is plenty strong enough to handle the abuse of being in a war zone...it won't last forever, but don't waste your money like I did...Do yourself a favor - if you are a new or moderately experienced guitar player looking at this and thinking about buying it - just do it....you will be very very happy. If you are a semi-pro to professional player you probably wouldn't bother to look at a sub $300 guitar, but this one really shines for the money spent. I am as miserly as it comes with my cash, but this guitar has me playing more often and I love it. You simply cannot put it down, and when you are away from it, you think about it all the time....Oh yeah, did I mention that it looks epically freaking EVIL? Go now....press the button...you know you want to!!!!!!!PS- Buy it from Amazon shop or someone else, not G0-D#S ;)...they will stick you with outrageous shipping fees, the big A ships for free and price is only $3 to 4 more :) !

My husband purchased this bag as Mother's day gift for me. From the minute I opened the box, I fell in love with this bag. The leather is soft and the color (red) is beautiful. The one flaw I do find is the bag is a little snug for my 17' laptop. Even so, I gave it 5 stars. Awesome bag.

    2Product workmanship was poor
    By Disappointed buyer
When I ordered this product, I knew it was an expensive purchase but was willing to pay the high price for a product of superior workmanship and materials. When I recedived the product, it was made of a thin piece of wood vaneer with plastic in the center. I was shocked, it was cheaply made and not worth anywhere near the price I paid for it. I expected a Seth Thomas type product but this was not the case at all. I was highly disappointed. I returned the product for a refund. I would not recommend this product at all.

    1Disappointing Cheap Modern Knock-off
    By P. Messenger
I agree with the review that says that this is no longer made as nicely as it once was, though it still has the old-fashioned price tag! What is wood is thin veneer, and the rest of it is plastic. This is the quality I would expect from an instrument costing $35; not $115. It's going back!

    5VERY NICE
    By David A. Youngblood
I like this Metronome far better than electronic metronomes because I have gone through two electronic metronomes that for some reason just stopped working; so, I decided to go to the old method, and I am far more satisfied with this old style wind up Metronome. WORD OF WARNING: The Metronome slides from the thumb and fingers when picking it up from the top; so, I used Shoegoo for glue, and I glued a strip of velcro on both sides; the velcro was only the spiky part, and I threw the soft velcro away; now, when I pick the metronome up from the top it will not slide through my thumb and finger; otherwise, it is best to pick up the metronome by grabbing it in a palmed fashion. Also, I had some little rubber circles that glue on to the bottom of electronic products to stop them from sliding around; so I glued a little rubber circle on each one of the feet of the Metronome in order to stop it from sliding off of smooth surfaces because it will slide off on a smooth surface! You do not want to drop this precious item; also, do not wind it up very much so that at the end of each use, you can slide the gauge to beat very fast so that it will completely wind down; thus, removing tension on the spring; also, it has a very nice look to it when it is not being used compared to that of some ugly electronic gadget. The sound on this Metronome is a good loud solid wood nock.

    5Best Tenor Sax Strap
    By JBB
The BG Yoke Sax Strap has been a neck saver for my young tenor sax player. The wider strap combined with the positioning on the shoulders instead of the neck, provides a much more comfortable playing experience. Highly recommended.

    4Nice amp
    By Ivan A. Gamboa Fuentes
I was looking for an inexpensive guitar amp to use at home with my Cort X-6 and boss pedals. Amazon offers this one under the name of "15 Watt Guitar Amp with Reverb".I've never heard of Harke amps for guitars. Other current options were the line 6, the Crate and the Behringer, but this was only 83 dls and had distortion and reverb, So I decided to give it a try. What I liked: Size is 13x13x8.5", very portable. Sound in the clear chanel is very nice and enjoyable (volume level 3 to 5 , I never use more). The reverb effect does a good, modest job (if you want more reverb you should buy an effect pedal).I never use the integrated distortion because the lack of control, unless you use a foot switch which can be plugged in the back of the amplifier, but for test purposes I can say is average, sounds like boss DS-1.What I did not Like: You can really hear the reverb spring when you move the amp. Sounds like something broken in the inside but you get use to it.Another thing I did not like is that when you turn off the amp half a second later you can hear a not so loud, horrible "pop". This is a common issue in some amps but not in Crate amps which were the ones I use to work with.I like simple things, the line 6 has to much of everything (chorus, flanger, reverb, delay, etc), The crate with reverb is a very nice unit but is more expensive. This is a nice amp, I like it, I am happy with it and it does the job, of course I am only playing at home for me and my family.
