Great personal and conference VoIP phone

I bought several of these phones for employees at my office last year. They've worked very well as office phones and even as conference phones with up to three people sitting around the phone. The sound quality is very clear.There are a few caveats that apply to all VoIP phones. First, before you can use a VoIP phone you must configure the VoIP server, in our case Asterisk, to associate the phone's MAC address with its phone extension. You can't expect to take the phone out of the package, plug it in, and start talking as you would with a regular phone.Second, VoIP phones transmit voice over the packet-switched Internet instead of the circuit-switched network used by the "plain old telephone system" (POTS). Because packet-switched networks do not use a dedicated electrical circuit, there can be a variability in the amount of time it takes to transmit voice to or from a VoIP phone. This variability can cause temporary dropouts in voice. This quality-of-service issue is mitigated by the fact that this phone has a configurable and adaptable jitter buffer that can compensate for this variability by buffering up packets during times of delays and "shrinking" the buffer during times of silence.Another consideration when buying Polycom phones is that firmware and configuration file updates are available only for customers of authorized Polycom resellers. You'll want to make sure you buy at least some Polycom phones from one of these resellers to keep your phones' software up to date. The firmware and configurations can be loaded from a TFTP server, so all you need to do is load the latest firmware and configuration files on the server, reboot the phones, and they all update automatically.

We bought this for my mother-in-law who collects the Department 56 line. We were so excited when it came and so happy with the product. It is so cute and great quality. Ours also came with a figurine of a woman walking with yarn and a cat chasing after the yarn; it really added to the house. Best of all, my mother-in-law loved it and said that it is one of her favorite houses that she owns! I highly recommend this cottage, especially to all craft lovers!

Very Cool!

I love this piece. It's so unique and not a typical "gory" Halloween decoration. Be careful if you have little kids. My 2 year old really liked to tackle this one. I had to eventually give in to putting it up days before Halloween because he broke the sucker off. Maybe he was trying to eat it. This is a great addition to any Halloween village.

This is my favorite Halloween piece. Little gummy worms and chocolate covered spiders! Even the suckers are wrapped in cellophane! Very, very cute. Everyone stops to look at this piece...all the little details. While it is cute, it goes very well with the really spooky pieces.

Expensive Junk!

We bought this faucet about one year ago and had it professionally installed by a licensed plumber. It worked fine for about three months but then everything began to break. First, the cold/hot water selector went -- it constantly became lose and had to be tightened and retightened every other week. Now, it is every week - it becomes so lose it is impossible to use. Next, the soap dispenser suddenly stopped pumping soap and no longer works. Finally, the water sprayer handle sticks and doesn't shut itself off. We are in the process of trying to get a refund from the company but we are out of the cost for installation. Don't buy this product ... it is expensive crap!

Good product, good service

This is a quality product, installs pretty easily and looks great. Mine has minor cosmetic damage, so Price Pfister has agreed to send a new part at their expense. The warranty covers function and finish for as long as you own the home where it is installed. Initially upon installation it squeaked when the faucet was rotated, but the noise went away quickly.

We were happy with our latest installment of the Mighty Fine BBQ for the Snow Village.Our main complaint is that there is a cook on the cover cooking BBQ and in very small print, it states that the figure in not included.I remember Department 56 being more generous.
