We have purchased this same type of sunglasses before and knew that we would like them. Shipping was prompt and customer service with this retailer was wonderful. We had ordered two pairs of the sunglasses because they are getting harder to find. We originally only received one pair but immediately after we contacted them they shipped out the second pair and were very apologetic.

I have eyes that are very sensitive to light. I have to wear sunglasses when I go outside almost on every occasion. These sunglasses work great the sides prevent light from getting in. The matte black finish is of good quality. I love the polarized feature as I am an avid fisherman and they work good to reduce the glare when you are looking at water. I have had pairs of these before and they have held up well.

Modern faucet with vintage appeal

I replaced the original faucet on my 100 yr old home twenty years ago. The one I bought had a soap holder and a less elevated spout. When you turned the handles for water, they interfered with the spout (poor design). The most annoying problem was that they always leaked calling for the plumber or do-it-yourself fixes that were never permanent. They finally failed by stripping the threads on the handles after twenty years of annoying use.This faucet has a taller spout that doesn't get tangled up in the handles. It has ceramic disk 1/4 turn handles that easily turn water on and off (PRAISE THE LORD!) and sadly, no soap dish. It looks great (nicely vintage), cost 100 dollars to install, and hopefully will give me some years of service with no further plumbing visits. I use an Aquasana water filter with it, and that was the hardest thing to install because this new faucet only has two threads to turn it on to. The plumber got it on and I pray I won't have to ever take it off. nothing's perfect :)

Good if you need a wall mount faucet

We have a 1940ties era house with the original tiled kitchen sink that requires a wall mount faucet. This model is to only one I've found that suits the style of the house and is reasonably attractive.Bought this to replace an identical one that was leaking and had reached the end of its useful life after perhaps 25 years. I had replaced the original valve cartridges once and was now periodically replacing the rubber O-rings that sit under the valve cartridge on the hot water side. The ceramic valves do not last forever - they are contained in fragile plastic housings and are expensive and hard to find when you need to replace them. Corrosion had also broken through the chrome on one of the wall escutcheons. There are O-rings in the spout swivel that will also need periodic replacement or the joint will drip when you run the water.The product arrived in good order but was delivered in its unsecured, part open wholesale box, so I'm guessing a local plumbing supply house just sent it around with their delivery driver on orders from Amazon (San Francisco Bay Area).I didn't try to see what American Standard would have done about the "Limited Lifetime Warranty on function and finish".

Defective right out of the factory

I was shocked. I loved the look of the faucet. But, the plumber installed the faucet, only to find there was an invisible flaw. Water flowed out from a factory casting defect. No one could see it with the naked eye until the water was flowing. Am hoping to get a full return. If I do I'll increase my stars.

Nice quality, color not what we expected

I was looking for a nice cabinet island on wheels to go in my kitchen, and this was really the only decent one I could find (and I couldn't find ANY that I could visit in a store to color-compare - they were all online). The price is very good, the quality is nice, especially considering what we paid for it, and my husband was able to set the entire thing up by himself, so I would say that the construction is relatively easy. The drawers are extremely shallow, so you could probably store silverware in it but not most cooking utensils and such. We've been using it for a month now, and it feels very solid. Overall, we're pleased.Our only disappointment is that we were actually looking for a very blonde natural color, to match the off-white and brown brick we have in our kitchen, and from this photo (and, I will admit, other photos of similar items from this company) we were pretty sure that was what we would get. However, the one that we got is extremely golden (almost yellow), so it doesn't match at all, and looks very out of place in our muted kitchen. I was very disappointed, but looking at the photo again, I guess I can see the color going either way, so I inquired about possibly returning it for the oak color before we had even unpacked it. Unfortunately, in addition to return shipping costs, you are also back-charged for the cost to ship to you, and a re-shelving fee. Even with the discount given to Amazon costumers, that adds up to half the total of the item! Without knowing for certain that the oak wouldn't turn out to be more cherry (and thus also not match), we decided against returning it.I am mad at myself, because I bought from Amazon because the price was slightly cheaper, but there are several well-known big-box stores out there that sell this item online for a slightly higher price (with free shipping), but then allow you to return items to your local store at no cost. I wish I had paid a bit extra to be able to return it for free.

Good quality

This cart is made of quality, solid wood and looks great with the granite top. I would recommend using a powered screw-driver or drill to put it together as the screws could be pretty hard to turn with a manual screw driver. With only one exception, everything lined up and fit correctly. When assembling the drawers, I had to take the metal sliding rails off of the drawer sides in order to get at the screw holes which were beneath them. This was not a big deal as they are held on with 3 screws and come off and on easily.

Nice product; good value

American Standard has a reputation for quality plumbing products so I purchased this item for a bathroom remodeling project. It is a traditional style and comes in 3 different sizes so beware. This is the middle size which is standard. I mistakenly purchased the smaller one first but had to return it. Installed, it looks beautiful with an upscale look.

Great for the Price 4.5 stars

Just received and put this together today. I got the two drawer model with natural wood finish, casters and wood top. Overall I give it 4.5 stars which I have rounded up to 5. The .5 star ding is due to poor instructions (which are still better than Ikea), slight misalignment on the drawers, and a crappy allen wrench.Home Styles has a lot of different furniture listed on Amazon and I read many of the reviews of other products trying to get a sense of the overall build quality. Many people complained of missing parts, damage during shipping, poor customer service, missing pre drilled holes and even a bad smell. I encountered none of these issues.I am a pretty experienced home furniture builder and consider myself pretty handy. That said this is not an easy build. It is not overly difficult but if this is your first major piece of assembled furniture I recommend you get some help. It took me about two and half hours to assemble by myself. I used a hammer, a real allen wrench, an electric screwdriver and wood glue to assemble this. The included allen wrench is pretty worthless and rounds off easily, and there are enough phillips head screws that you will want an electric screwdriver to save your wrists. The wood glue is probably not necessary but I always glue anything that uses wooden dowels.This unit is made from solid wood, not particle board or laminated plywood. Final construction quality is very solid. The small shelf on the side is a little flimsy and could use an extra screw or two but otherwise I am very impressed by just how solid the end product is. You will definitely want to tighten all the lag bolts as much as you can. Another reason to use a real allen wrench.As for the instructions they are pretty good but can be confusing in some areas such as attaching the top. Evidently there are different tops available with different types of attachments which wasn't made super clear in the instructions. It took me about ten minutes of studying the instructions to figure out how it went on.The top two drawers are not very deep, probably about an inch an a half, just enough to store a roll of saran wrap or aluminum foil. Also they don't line up perfectly, not a major issue and most people might not even notice but it kinda annoys me. There is also a small gap between the two center doors but at least it is straight.I would expect to pay close to a thousand dollars for this if not more in an actual furniture store so I definitely think it is worth the price. Overall this is a great addition to my kitchen.

Not bad at all

Attractive, solidly made fixture which replaced a 60-year old unit in our house. Two notes: the soap dish, for whatever reason, won't stay put and swivels around every time it's touched. This can be fixed with a single thickness of electrical tape cut to length. Also: our plumber noted that this faucet uses cartridges ("ceramic disc valves") where washers might otherwise go. It's important to hang onto the exploded parts diagram in case of future failure: you'll have the cartridge part # and the toll-free number to call for replacement, perhaps under the limited lifetime warranty.

A GOOD starter set the WOOD CASE IS THE BEST FEATURE

It's a good introduction set to painting with oils, acrylics and water colors. Just what I wanted since I am just starting out. It gives you a good variety of media to experiment with. You soon realized that if you are going to do quality work you need an few more supplies. (I am going with acrylics)I added: One Stroke Painting INT1059 Folk Art Value Brush Pack (Amazon) Stainless Steel Painting Knife - Pallet Knife 5-Piece Set (Amazon) and a couple more things like gesso, Matte Finish Spray and larger tube of white (Amazon)In the end the nicest part of this set will be the wooden box. It is very nicely made with dovetailed joints, drawers for storage and good hardware (flip latches) and sturdy leather handle. I will have a convenient place to store all my supplies and I can take them anywhere should I decide to work outside or on location. I love it. Great Starter Kit

This paint kit would be excellent for someone who is just learning to paint. It has a slew of different media and brushes. I guess I don't need to list it all. I also like that the easel is built in. I did buy new brushes. The ones that come with the set are crappy. I found that the bristles on all of them are too long and too difficult to control if you're trying to make narrow, short lines.

Just OK, Not worth the price

This set is nice but in my opinion not worth the price, the paints are good but the box is pretty flimsy and the brushes are not very good. when i got it one of the oil paints had been punctured and paint got on the inside of the box and on some of the other paints and the pallet, it sounds like a lot but it wasn't really THAT much paint, just enough to be annoying and dissapointing, especially because the set was a christmas gift for my wife. I must say though that besides all that she does have a lot of fun with this and has painted many cute pictures to hang in our new babies room. I would recomend looking for a different paint set if i were you, or at least if you could find this one for a much lower price.

Man Cave magic.

Mounted this in my Man Cave, love it! The mounting bracket requires two screws, bolted mine to concrete with a few anchors. And then there are two more bolts at the bottom, so four in all. 3/4 spud input, and 1 1/4 inch standard drain out. So I was able to get everything else I needed at my local hardware store. Instead of a regular (and expensive) water supply valve, I used a simple 3/4 ball valve like this LDR 022 2204 3/4-Inch IPS Ball Valve, Lead Free Brass. 10 bucks versus 100, no brainer. Total spent on drain, PEX lines, and Sharkbite fittings brought the project in under $175. Being the only guy I know with a urinal in his house? Priceless.

ALL bathrooms need a urinal, says wife!

I've had urinals in the last two houses. Two in this one and one more coming (for the mancave). They are in the fancy, decorator-style bathrooms along with a bidet and Jacuzzi. The Sloan valves are way cool: Triple chromed solid brass, and totally retro. Fits in well with our wall hung toilets (easy cleaning and no scuzzy grout). My wife (and I of course) love urinals. No sniveling about the seat left up, and no need to lift it up either. Her friends at first are snippy, then become enthusiastic believers when they realize the benefits, including the absence of drippies on the floor. I plumbed mine with 3/4" supply pipe as recommended. (Sloans need their water, right now, to affect a siphon in the trap.) A 1/2" feed might work. Try it if it already exists; but for new, use 3/4".

No regrets

This urinal was ordered and installed in a recent bathroom remodel. It is a perfect size and very affordable. It is mounted next to the toilet. Originally I had plans for a privacy panel between the urinal and the toilet but discovered that it was not necessary. Sitting on the toilet you are far enough forward that you don't even notice the urinal is there. Having this in my bathroom makes me very happy. I was a little bit nervous about it, since I don't know anyone else that has one, but it makes me very happy to have it and use it, and I would recommend it to anyone that is considering it. I am also very happy with the flush valve, also ordered from Amazon: Sloan 186-XL Regal Urinal Flush Valve (3082653), Chrome.

A convenient way to increase the capacity of Depends and keep the patient dry.

I certainly like using the 4" x 14" Tranquility Pad for my father and think it is an effective replacement for the Depends boost which we used to use. However, I have recently found that the super-plus Tranquility Pads work even better than the 4" x 14" pads since they hold 27.5 oz of urine as compared to the 10.9 oz capacity of the smaller pad. I have found that when I insert 2 of the large pads into my father's Depends adjustable underwear with velcro closures before bedtime, that this combination generally has enough capacity to absorb all of the urine which comes out during the night. This is great and allows both of us to have an uninterrupted nights sleep and keeps my dad dry during the night! It also helps to contain feces, although feces can still leak out of the edges of the Depends. The larger pads lack adhesive (which the smaller pads have) which can sometimes make it difficult to keep them in position while pulling up the Depends. They have a tendency to double over onto themselves.

BEST EVER

I currently have this identical faucet in white and when the plumber installed it, he told me that it would not last and it would leak. Well, it is 12 years old and I've never had one bit of trouble with it and not one single leak. I absolutely love it and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it other than my ex-husband smoked and it discolored just the pull-out part. Now that I am finally rid of my ex, I have decided to replace my kitchen countertop and I am purchasing this same exact faucet in the polished chrome in the hopes that it is as awesome as the first one. If the handle wasn't yellowed, I wouldn't be replacing it at all. My mom also has the same faucet, also in white, and it is 11 years old and again, not one single issue. Considering our track record with this American Standard faucet, I would not consider any other faucet. I'm just thankful it is still available.

Not pleased

This was supplied by the builder in a new home which I purchased. After four years I've experienced the following problems: The pull out cannot be pushed all the way back in to the base. Both I and my plumber are mystified as to why not as there is no mineralization build up. The only thing that we can think is that the plastic ring in the base has swollen, however unlikely that seems. The spray setting still has a heavy stream in the middle. It leaks from both the spray head, down the hose, and from the body requiring my plumber to replace an "O" ring. From reading reviews of other brands it seems that this is yet another product of which it is impossible to find a really well-made example.

Kitchen Faucet

I've always loved the American Standard brand of plumbing fixtures - this is no exception. This is a wonderful example of the best of engineering - it may be a little more expensive, but how often do you change out your kitchen faucet? Well engineered, beautifully executed it is elegant and artistic. Using with stainless steel under-mount sink and granite counter-top, it appears almost organic - as though it grew there ...I love the feel of the movement, the balance of the faucet, the shape of the mix valve - absolutely the best available anywhere.Did I say that I love it? Everything works well and smoothly.
