I did a lot of comparison shopping for a 2" slide in hitch to use with my F250 truck. The B&W hitch was definitely the best selection. The 3 1/2" adjustable height, plus the "stowaway" feature ("hideaway" capability - no more banged up shins when walking around the rear of the truck!) made this a hitch with great features. And it comes with two different size hitch balls (2" and 2 5/16"). With a 1,000 pound tongue capacity and a 10,000 pound total weight capacity, this hitch beat the competitors all around. Perfect slide in hitch for using with my 14' stock trailer or my flatbed. Adjusting the height of the hitch (to help "level" the trailer tongue for safer, more efficient towing), changing the ball size, or hiding the hitch away when you don't need it, are all easy to accomplish with the provided stainless steel pins. This hitch also looks great! I shopped around for this hitch. Most local truck accessory shops don't have it in stock (4-6 weeks delivery time), and their price was over $225. I purchased it through Amazon and it saved me over $75! Plus it arrived about two days quicker than the advertised delivery time. Great product, great price, great delivery time!

Love the quick change of ball size and drop. Would recommend to anyone that pulls multiple trailers. You should also get a locking hitch pin.

I bought this hitch for my new F250 - be careful here because the 250's come with a larger receiver now, and you'll need an adapter sleeve to make it work.The hitch itself is great. Very flexible in use, particularly getting the height right. Everything feels like it's built to last; very sturdy. The pins slide in and out easier than I thought they would. When stowed, presents a nice clean appearance.Also, when I set my camper, once I get it chocked, I can drop the ball out of the hitch without moving my truck. Just a little benefit, but nice.
