I was looking for a deep, throaty, but light gargully, move out of my way before I eat you, your lucky im not hungry... NOW MOVE!! type of sound and with these I found it. Its not too loud ALL the time but when I like for it to be. I put these on my 86 regal with a chevy 350 and turn down exhaust before the axle. It resignates in the car a little before I get on the gas but after that its smooth sailing. Great pipes and I happen to catch them on sale with 25% off. Verry pleased

Installed on a 98 3.8L Firebird. Lower tone than stock, but really not much louder. No drone, mostly because of the lack of volume. Slight rasp at higher RPMs. It's at its loudest around 2-3k RPMs. Easy installation. No new pipes needed, even though it's slightly smaller than the stock muffler. Glad the price was low, I think I'm going to go with a full Magnaflow catback next. Was hoping for a little more noise from a muffler advertised as "Aggressively Toned" . It's entirely possible that my V6 itself is the problem, or the stock cat, however I've heard louder from other V6 F-Bodies that are stock other than a Magnaflow catback. On the upside, it definitely is much less restrictive than the stock muffler.

I put a 44 on my v6 Mustang and it sounds way better than before, if you didn't look under the Hood you'd think it was a v8
