The CP88 feels only a bit heavier than a 9mm Ruger P95 with a loaded 15 round clip **(EDIT: the weight difference, both loaded, in less than 1 ounce!),and the grip feels is very similar. This gun is very solid, all steel and German made -very well made. The fit and finish is equal to my 9mm and allows me to practice in my back yard ( 1.5 acre lot )at a price/shot that - of course - pales in price to 9mm rounds. I'm using Crossman Hollow Point Pellets and Crossman C02 cartridges at the moment. I get about 90+ good shots per CO2 cartridge.I've been a "rifle person" all my life, so pistols are very new ( and different ) to me. I'm shooting at about 30 feet ( 9 meters ). I feel the accuracy is quite good and will be spot-on as I improve. Short barrels take getting used to, but at pennies a shot, I can practice a lot. I'm expecting to get up to speed quickly with the 9mm with all the kick and bang that's so much fun.
