What a great, every day size. We have a gas stove, and the heat distributes evenly and quickly through this Staub. The lid seals tightly and with authority. This has turned into a very active piece of cookware, one we use nearly everyday -- and it came with an unexpected surprise -- it looks GREAT on the stove top in the black matte finish. Very easy to clean up, too.
