I purchased the Moen bathroom faucets, tub and shower trim kit and valve assembly. Very expensive, but I've used Moen before and liked the quality. The bathroom sink faucets are outstanding and operate flawlessly. The shower unit is another story. As others have pointed out, the shower diverter on the tub spout leaks. Moreover, water accumulates behind it after the water is shut off and the tub spout drips for hours afterward. The shower handle design is seriously flawed: the black plastic part on which the shower handle is mounted is attached to the valve stem with a single screw. Because the plastic part moves slightly every time you turn the handle, the screw gradually loosens and the shower handle becomes wobbly when turned. This is an inexcusable engineering design flaw. It requires that you periodically remove the handle with a hex wrench, tighten the screw with a phillips head driver, and then reattach the handle. I'd advise against purchasing this model.

This entire set has a very sturdy look and feel. I'm happy with the shower fixture and control valve. However the tub spout is a disappointment since it leaks constantly. I live in a tropical country which does not require hot water for bathing, so there is no chance of anything freezing. But no matter how much I fiddle with the pull for the tub spout, there is still a steady drip, drip, drip.I will have to replace it with some other kind of spout or tap, which is a shame since whatever I replace it with won't match the other items.

Good quality item; I like Moens lifetime warranty; The only reason not 5 stars; instructions are pretty bad; nothing written; just pictures. Without many years of handyman experience, this would have been much more difficult because of the poor instructions.
