Being one of the few with an ancient kitchen from the '40s when wall-mounted faucets were standard, I've found there really hasn't been much to pick from. The OSH/Home Depot type stores now only carry really cheap, part-plastic wall-mount faucets. I put off buying a replacement for my old Delta until it had corroded far enough to start leaking & then I had to. The image of this American Standard faucet is deceptive. It looks like it, too, is cheap. It's not. It's one hefty hunk of brass. It epitomizes the term "well-made". In fact, every member of my family commented on its feel of quality. It has ceramic valves so I finally am free of that 3-times a year duty of changing the seals. The spout rotates so easily, it's like it's on ball bearings. If you have a wall-mounted faucet to replace, get this one for sure. The spouts come in different sizes so measure what you need carefully. I ordered the wrong size at first & Amazon was great in replacing it for me! Thank you Amazon!

How fun is this? Anew wall mounted faucet gives a modern-vintage nod to my recently remodeled 1950's kitchen.I'm very pleased with how it looks and works. Hopefully I will be saying the same a few years from now. So far, so good.
