5Easy to Install
By D. Gurley
I bought this for my son to install in his 2005 Scion xB. He had it installed and working in less than 15 minutes. He really likes it!

4Easy to install, good, but not great, audio quality
By Doug Archer
Installing this in my car was pretty easy after I got the stereo itself out. It would be nice if the item came with some way of securing it inside the dash. I used 3M command strips to secure it which worked very well and they are very easy to remove if necessary. I have a 2006 Camry and found that I can only get to the iPod if there is a CD in the stereo as well. If there is no CD inserted, you can't get to the "cd changer" that the iPod is imitating. The display doesn't show anything useful, but I knew that before buying. My one gripe is that the audio quality isn't as good as I was hoping and it is actually pretty quiet. I have to turn the volume way up to hear the iPod output, then turn it back down when I switch to a CD or the radio. One thing about this setup that I wasn't sure I would like when I bought it but that I really like now is that it only switches tracks on the iPod, not playlists, albums, etc. This may sound like a negative, but I really like it as using the 1-line display on a car stereo is really a sub-par way to switch between albums, playlists, etc. Also, the iPod adapters that do read playlists only read a certain number of playlists. This way, I can have my iPod set up any way I want with as many playlists I want. I just have to make sure to select the playlist I want before I start driving (or have my trusty copilot with me).One other small annoyance I've found is that when I get back in the car and the iPod is paused after having listened to music through the adapter, the iPod is paused and I have to manually unpause it to get it to play again.Overall, this iPod adapter is FAR superior to FM transmitters or tape adapters (both of which I've tried) as it charges your iPod and the sound quality is good (just not great). And the price on Amazon is the lowest I found, so I highly recommend this product.

5Works just as advertised
By Lhedblad
This product works great. It was a breeze to set up in my Toyota. Don't pay for professional installation when you can do it yourself in 30 minutes. I saved 80 bucks doing it myself.
