The METALSHIELD protective coating process is a three step finish consisting of a rust inhibiting primer, dipped E-coat electrostatic coating to insure total finish coverage and finally an outer powder coat finish for durability. The METALSHIELD process is an OEM compatible finish providing the best corrosion protection over brands that use only powder coat on their products. Went on a 2010 Chev Silverado WT... Fit great. Can't get any easier than this... It takes longer to get it out of the package.

Hitch installs with two factory, and four new bolts. Installation is easy, and everything lines up nicely. Heavy duty for sure, and easiest to install with ramps and jack stands. Reese does include a plastic receiver cover for bar opening. Put it in, but broke the first time I took it off to insert hitch bar. Best served to get a rubber cover that Reese makes. Check Amazon, Walmart, or any one of a number of sites. Costs about $4.
