Carl Martin Surf Tremolo Pedal Product Description:
Product Description
Remember the great tremolo tones of the 50's and 60's? The 'Surf Trem' gets its' trem circuit from the CM Tremovibe. With just a 'speed' and 'depth' control (just like our old tube amp) those classic tones are easy to achieve. The retro heavy diecast case with 9 volt battery compartment, cool colour and heavy duty bypass switch, make the 'Surf Trem' a must have in every pedal box.

this pedal is just what I have been looking for!it doesn't have all the stupid bells and whistles that the others have.it's just honest to God, true tremolo like I used to have on my oldKustom amp.perfect for 1950's music like Duane Eddy and Link Wray.love it, very happy and a great price.

Velvety vintage tone
By L. Dey
I had this on my wish list for a long time and it was purchased for me as a gift but I felt I had to write a review on it. I play in a classic rock and oldies band and have gotten nothing but compliments on the Surf Trem. My bandmates, one who was a studio musician on several original surf tunes like Walk Don't Run in the early sixties, are amazed at how good this tremolo unit sounds. Just last night, my bass player asked me if it had a tube preamp in it because of the warm tone (I play through a USA built Fender Deluxe). I told him it didn't. I've been using a Line 6 Tap Tremolo, but have pretty much put it aside in favor of the Surf Trem. If you want a classic velvety smooth tremolo sound with a nice warm tone, then the Surf Trem is for you!
