Dark Horse Comics presents Nixon, the maniacal mercenary from Hard Boiled. Translating the meticulous intricacy of Geof Darrow's art into a visual masterpiece, master sculptor Kent Melton has created a sumptuous feast for the decadent imagination--guaranteed to make the hardcore collector drool. This piece was originally released in 1997 as an oversize, unpainted polyresin kit. Only 100 were made, and they sold out at a whopping $695.00 each.
This new version is approximately 11" and was recreated in a collaboration between original sculptor Kent Melton and the talented team at Gentle Giant Studios. It comes prepainted, with all the detailing of the original statue.
Format: 11" tall, fully painted

Great statue but please unpackage very carefully!

Great sculpt and paint, Geoff Darrow would be pround to own one of these :). Can't wait to have him sign the base at comic con. PLEASE PLEASE be very careful unpackaging him, his tie sits just off of his body and is only attached at the collar. Mine snapped while i was unpackaging it. Beyond that it's a great piece just be careful.

Look great!

We recently moved to a new home that needed lots of updating. We received the Trinity lights for our kitchen and dining room as a Christmas gift and loved them. We are now remodeling our bathrooms and decided to get lights from the same family to complete the look. They take regular bulbs so no expensive ones to replace. We actually used the old bulbs from our strip lights that were in the bathrooms before. The glass is frosted so it allows lots of light without seeing the ugly bulbs and you can mount the lights going up or down. We chose up because out mirrors are pretty big over the sink and I love the look. They are fairly big fixtures so we chose the three bulb model and it works great.

Nice especially for the price

I bought this fixture and the four light matching one for our master bath to replace the builder grade ones. I wasn't looking to break the bank, just for an updated, transitional/contempo. look and that's exactly what these lights achieve. The polished chrome gleams beautifully and matches our faucets. They don't look cheap, like some of the ones I looked at in the 'box stores'. These give off great light, taking up to 300 and 400 watts respectively, if you like a lot of light in the bathroom. Of course, you can choose lower wattage. Our contractor installed them with no problems. I plan to order two more for our other bathrooms.

Excellent choice

When I received the light fixture I was amazed at how beautiful it was. i was redoing my bathroom and it fit perfectly in the space that I had designed for it. It looks amazing!

Fantastic, concise, and super quick bullet points

I've only just started reading the book, however I do like the format, and the quick bullet points. I would recommend this book as one of your study books. I haven't taken the boards yet and won't for another 6 months, however I do like this concise format. Won't know if its high yield, but it appears to be a good source for review. It was highly recommended and I concur.
