My husband and I purchased this stove for week long vacation to South Dakota, and I can't tell you how grateful I am we decided to buy this. South Dakota had a burn ban the entire time we were there, so this little thing was the answer. We were able to set it up on the picnic table which was a lot more comfortable than leaning over a fire. I cooked a variety of meals with it, it boils water for pasta in minutes, and fried eggs nicely, we also made beans for burritos, heated pre-made red beans and rice, and made pancakes. Really there is very little you can't do with this little guy.We were able to use a coleman camping peculator along with this set and found that really handy. And it would be great if this set came with a one, but its not necessary. When we have children we will probably buy another set so we can have two burners.My husband has also taken this with on other trips when he wasn't sure if he would have access to a kitchen. Its so small its no big deal to pack just in case.

I've had this stove for 20 plus years and it is still my go-to stove. I use it car camping and backpacking. It is completely quiet so won't wake or bother other campers. There are no parts to get plugged up or break. It is relatively lightweight and compact. I am shopping for new pots since I originally had the non-stick and would like to get the plain ones. You can't go wrong with this stove!

It takes some practice, but once you get the hang of it, you have a great stove for camping.
