I am a "Two Timer" as well. The first time I wore one was in October 2002 due to a severely sprained (right) ankle. The second was in April 2009 because of PF/Tendinitis in my (right) foot. Both times I used this boot I wore it for 3 weeks, and both times experienced the same results. Pain in foot/ankle diminished very quickly. However, it can be "clunky" as hell to drive in, but it's comfortable as hell to walk in! If your Doc gives you "the boot", make sure it's this one!

If you've got to wear one, this is a very comfortable, flexible boot. It's my second one. The first one cracked at a joint on the side after extended use and couldn't be repaired. I don't feel it should've had that problem; however, my overall satisfaction outweighed my aggravation at the time. It's a good product. It would be great if they changed the design to eliminate the (non-functional) joint.
