5Amazing amount of light
By B. Barrett
This light puts out a TON of light. So much so you don't want to look directly into it if it's turned on. I've been using mine for about a year now and everyone who sees it wants one. It's so much easier than old fashioned stand lights that plug in and useful in places where there is little to no electricity available. It fully lights up two sheets of music and the arm makes it totally adjustable. It folds up nice and small and fits in my overcrowded case.

3Great Light, But Only After a Taping Session
By S. Curtis
I bought this light about eight months ago when I got tired of hassling with lamp cords and extension cords and dead bulbs. The light has worked quite well. It does not provide as much light as my old 40 watt AC stand light, but it has provided plenty of light for every situation I have encountered. The light it projects has a cold, flat, white quality with no hot spots, which I find well suited to reading music. It easily lights two pages on a music stand. The bulbs are virtually unbreakable, and the batteries last for months. My only complaint is that the arms between the battery case and the bulb housing are made of two pieces and they fell apart within a few days of use. I solved the problem by taping the arms back together and, while I do not normally view taping things together as an ideal solution, it has worked quite well. Overall, I would recommend the light as it is much simpler than my old AC light. The arms are delicate, however, and I could only recommend the light without reservation if the arms were re-designed so they would not fall apart.

4Great light -- slight sizing problem.
By D. P. Schroeder
I recently picked up this light after seeing one in use by a trumpeter friend of mine -- we were both stuffed back in a dark corner of a church for a gig, and HE had no problem seeing his music! This LED is incredibly bright, covers two pages easily, and is easily directionally adjustable so that one doesn't blind one's neighbors (or the conductor)! And the LED uses so little power that, in a test, I found that it kept burning for 24 hours (!!!!) using (Sony 2500 mAh AA Rechargeable Nimh Batteries, 4-pack. Amazing! My only gripe is that it's a little wobbly on Manhasset stands. The bottom-most part of the stand-clamp is slightly long and rides into the ribbing on the stand, which makes for a somewhat unsteady fit. I'm going to look into other stand-makers to find a, perhaps portable, stand for gigs that it fits better to. Or, I may simply make a few modifications in my wood-shop to make it a more universal fit. I sure wouldn't send it back, though. It's a FINE gig companion that's highly recommended!!!!
