5the best electric jack hammer ive ever used
By duff007
this is a very impressive tool, the anti-vibration system is just awesome. w/ this system after the bit gets started you can pretty much operate this breaker w/ 1 hand comfortably, although i wouldnt recommend doing it alot for safety reasons. the tool does almost all of the work, unlike the bosch which is a good breaker but u kinda have to fight w/ it a bit. n at the end of the day the bosch w/ wear on you, the dewalt will not.this is the most powerful electric breaker out there right now, and u can definitely see the difference. i was recently breaking up a 12" thick concrete slab(4'x6'), which the electric breakers are usually not recommended for. but it made relatively easy work of it. and the bosch was out there too and just didnt really have the power to get through. the dewalt fires 61lbs a hit as to the bosch which is 43lbs or the makita @ 46lbs(63 joules). the dewalt does fire a little less hits per min. than the bosch or makita but you still get alot more work done w/ the dewalt. and ill take more power per hit any day and sacrifice 10% less hits per min. and the motor stays cool even in 80 degree sun. note- if bits get stuck in 12" thick concrete you are going too deep, punch more holes.now for the cart, it was redesigned i think last year. i never owned 1 w/ the old cart but i thought the 1 i borrowed was kinda cheap. the new cart which i own is far better. solid tires, better steel. the strap is a little weird, idk about the longevity of it. and the cord holder is not my favorite but it works.i really have no complaints about this tool. maybe other than the part plastic housing on the very top of the tool but all the brands ive used have that. i paid a lil over $1700 2 months ago for it and im very happy. if anything changes as the tool gets used more and more over time ill add to this.

5Power? Oh yea.
By Anthony Vito Fiore
It's heavy but works exceptionally well. I have never used an electric break hammer with this much power. The cart is not the best quality but it serves it's purpose. I've used the hilti, bosch brute, and the big makita. If you're measuring for power, this beats them all. It will wear you out if you don't use it properly.

5Works very well!
By bentlevel
I used mine on several projects to break up concrete and have not tripped any breakers! I know its possible, and am not really worried, I think the soft start helps a lot. I've also used it on asphalt, no sweat. Great also is the tamping shank with the six inch square tamping plate for compacting grade. I"ll edit this review after i've used it to pile drive some grounding rods. There are a lot of accessories to increase the usefulness of this tool.
