The Bianchi Model 83 PaddleLok® Hip Holster offers an Auto Retention™ feature which automatically secures the gun upon reholstering. The internal FingerLok™ retention device secures the pistol by the trigger guard. To draw, the middle finger sweeps the release lever allowing the pistol to be drawn in a straight out motion. The non-slip paddle is contoured and has molded-in elastomer ridges for maximum grip on the trousers and belt, and is adjustable for cant and height. This High ride holster can be worn cross draw or strongside. Made with premium grade full grain cowhide. Open muzzle. Patented. Fits Government 1911, Kimber Custom II

Easily adjustable for cant. Make it great for moving from cross draw, while driving, to strong side, out of the car. The holster had a very large lip that grabs over the belt and makes it very hard for someone to take off of you. In cross draw, I found it very easy to draw and release the pistol. You can not do this with many other retention holsters. I also like that I don't have to remove the gun from the holster when securing it in my lock box. The entire trigger area is covered and that means little fingers can't get in there and neither will anything you are carrying or eating.
