It's attractive, just as described, and while it's not a "Dark Sky" certified light, it cuts down light leakage quite a lot. The relatively focused lighting means that you should expect significant lighting on an area with around a 25 ft. circumference. So, if you have a 75 ft driveway you might want three of these.It's childishly simple to install; assuming you already have a post in place. I put it in as a snowstorm was beginning and it took about 10 minutes. I'm looking at the wall mounted versions so my lighting will be better matched. Plus, this lamp seems immune to rusting. Recommended.

I looked at many onion style lamps--the Kenroy Hatteras line was of good quality for a great price. The fixtures have the right amount of heft, not flimsy, nice black finish, seeded glass makes for a more unique light. We purchased 2 wall lanterns, 2 hanging fixtures(both hung over outdoor table as "chandelier"), and 2 post lights, really like them all.
