until I upgraded to a more expensive memory foam bed. This was a great starter bed....definitely didn't provide the same support as my new bed, but it was a great bed for the price! when i sleep on spring mattresses long term my back goes out and that never happened on this bed, although I did feel that the foam became worn down over time.

the 5.5 is a little deceiving even though they never say it is 5.5 lb per square or however it is worded for memory foam. makes a good topper. for the price, you can't beat this and the shipping was quick.
