.... for the price, however, it is a good value.But CAVEAT EMPTOR. Anyone shopping for a genuine alligator strap will soon note that other brands sell for 2 to 4 times what the JP Leatherworks strap does. That's because premium straps (i.e. Hirsch or RIOS) are better made and also because alligator leather for watch straps comes in two varieties: the small round scale, and the large square scale. Small round like this strap is the less desirable, and hence the less expensive, of the two.If you are looking for a replacement strap for a high end Swiss watch, this is not the one, but for a mid-level piece you cannot do any better.Richard VidaurriGuadalajara, Mexico
