After much research and hunting for the stock BMW sport springs (which I could not find anywhere used or new) that would work with my 328i, I decided to purchase these. The spring rates are VERY close to the stock sport spring rates for my car, so it proved to be a good move. Lowered it just the right amount (I like the clean raked look of the BMW). Very little wheel gap, can't quite fit two fingers between the top of the tire and the wheel arch. My fingers need to go in at a slight angle too.Installation:I installed these myself, but assume that most people will bring it to a shop. Rates in my area of NC ran about $700+ for R&R of all suspension components, plus about $100 for an alignment (at an Indy shop). I replaced the shocks/struts and springs in about 6.5 hours in my garage. It's about what I expected and may have gone faster/easier with someone helping.Ride quality:Been riding on it for the past few months and it's noticeably stiffer, but not over the top. Feels more planted on the road and corners a little better than the stock suspension. I still have to replace my F/R sways, but so far I'm happy with the ride quality. I read so many reviews on the H&R springs and how harsh they are. I don't track my car and never plan on it, so no need for back breaking stiff springs. Saw a lot of them for sale on the forums, helping me lean toward the Eibachs even more.Bottom line: I'd do it again and choose these same springs. I'm happy with the look, quality and price of the Eibach springs. Ride is a daily driver for me, an 08' 328i with the sport staggered 18's.

These springs are a modest change from the stock sport springs. Very similar spring rates and a drop of less than 1 inch all around. Enough to set the car apart without running into problems with scraping or suspension travel and geometry.

I bought this with some scepticism. After reading tons of reviews I decided to purchase these springs for my 2008 3 Series BMW. Let me tell you the ride quality changed dramatically. You would think that lowering your car would make the ride worse, not in this case. My ride became smoother under normal driving conditions. Road bumps actually became less traumatic. It did drop my car between and 1" and 1.5". It is not too low but just right for normal street driving. I didn't do the replacement myself, I did take it to the shop therfore I cannot comment on any challenges involve with the job. The alignment camber was way off when the job was done, but that was corrected by the aligement shop without the use of additional wheel camber accessories.I am very pleased with the cornering and ride quality of these eibach springs and would recommend these to anyone wanting to lower there car without sacrificing road driving quality.
