Princesse Bronze Dust Medieval Fantasy Collector Statue Product Description:
Product Description
Princesse Bronze Dust Fantasy Collector Statue by Idyllis. Princess of a mythical land awakening to the fresh, clear light of the beginning of summer. In the words of the artist herself... Having been inspired by the countless legends of Brittany, I have always been rapt by epic tales and fantasy fiction. My painting reflects a quest for my true nature -a quest that's only just begun. My love of matter and my admiration for the great masters of the past, such as Vermeer and Rembrandt, have convinced me of the extraordinary richness of the world of oil painting. So you'll also find my first oils in among my other work... I sincerely hope this journey into my imagination will transport and delight you. Made up of 6 different models, the statuettes in the "Bronze Dust" collection have been produced from a combination of different resins of excellent quality, to which real bronze powder has been added. It takes 10 to 20 moulds to make each statuette and render all the fine details of the artists original sculpture or drawing. Following the delicate operation of assembling its various parts, each statuette is then carefully hand-polished with steel wool to bring out the sheen of the bronze, before the final stage of applying a patina, also by hand. It, therefore, comes as no surprise to learn that, after such a lengthy and painstaking production process - a guarantee of the quality and originality of our statues, we have limited the worldwide availability of each model to 600. Box is 22 x 22 x 28.5
Our company, Idyllis, already had a reputation for its gifts and decorative household items, as well as for its collectors dolls, but Christine and I are very proud to present an entirely new collection; called "Bronze Dust", it comprises a series of statuettes, each of which represents a character from the phantasmagorical world. To create the collection, we called upon the imaginations of four painters and sculptors Yoshitaka Amano from Japan and Sandrine

Breathtaking
By Sonja Harken
I saw this statue at a fair and it is one of the most beautiful statues I have ever seen. I'm sorry I didn't buy it there, as it was less expensive, but now that I have found another I am going to get it. This is a fairly large bust; the colors and craftsmanship are remarkable.I don't know why this is under toys; this is definitely NOT a toy. it is a work of art.
