SO, I am giving it 5 stars just to be fair. But I just changed my mind on the "shiny" look, and looked for something a bit more subdued and "rustic". Oh my, before you buy, go look at the Minka Aire 569. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014A2O9A/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00Looks rather ordinary in the picture, but it is fabulous once installed. And the remote is the BOMB. Change speeds, adjust light. I will take a picture and try to post it! PLUS, it is about half the price of the Monte Carlo.Like I said, now, I returned the Monte Carlo before even opening it. Sooooo......I dunno.
