The clock arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Those are the 3 stars. Unfortunately, I did not realize from reading the description that chiming the melody on the hour did not mean chiming the hours themselves, so we are left with a clock that lets us know it is the top of the hour, but not which hour. Plus, the chimes are a bit loud and sound 'tinny.' Since there is no door on the front, any adjustments must be made by removing the clock from the wall and then removing the back of it. So, it gives the time, but Walmart has lots of clocks that do that for less money. Bottom line: it does look very handsome on the wall!

This clock is great .I love grandfather looking clocks on our walls. I will definately recommend this clock to everyone i know. Everyone who has come to our house loves the chime.
