3Good but over-priced
By Kingstonbeat
I was excited to have this installed but I had a $42 product which was almost as good.Positives: Loud and clear when flying down the freeway, volume lowers considerably when stopped at the traffic light, and it looks great on my Honda Interstate.Negatives: for $400-$500 I would think there would be some bass on that stereo sound. It's like listening to a mono-sound stereo which has only a treble control. I listen to music which requires bass to sound good. For me this makes the product worth maybe around $100. $150 would be pushing it.Also once stopped at the traffic light I could barely tell it's on. Now this complaint could be based off of the system I use. I have used a Zune and the sound is still audible when stopped but with my iPod I can't hear it anymore.Honestly if style is what you want, this item looks great. It blends in with the bike and kicks out a good "bass-less" sound. But if all you want to do is jam out some tunes from your MP3 player, either wear some headphones with a volume control (which is likely illegal) or save a few hundred dollars and get something cheaper. As I mentioned, I installed a $42 one on my Kawasaki Vulcan before I traded it in and it was more than adequate.

5Excellent! Could not be happier
By CozzMan
Got this on a real good deal through my Honda Dealer. So why I did not pay this price, I love it. 80 miles and hour and clear as a bell. Best feature is it ties into the the throttle, faster you go louder it gets, great mute feature, I do have a windshield on my bike so that may make a great difference to but excellent investment.
