I was going to get the Le Creuset...but then discovered that it was more expensive and you had to buy the heat-resistant lid handle separately. So, I went with this one. It's great. I love it. I use it almost every day. These pots don't clean up very well, but that's to be expected. They are more forgiving in appearance because of the black internal finish. The pot in green/basil looks gorgeous. I bought this and a larger 6.5 quart pot in matching green. Use medium or low heat as directed. I try not to cover it when making soups because it gets so hot it will most likely boil over. These pots can go from your fridge straight to the stove top (I have a gas stove). Great for soups, roasted meats, and braised vegetables.

I bought the 2.25 qt and it suits me just well. It can serve up to 4 for stew and stuff like that and I think the size is just wonderful. Though the lid may not be as tight (or else I didn't cover it correctly) as you imagine but still pretty good. But generally speaking it's a great item! Not expensive and still very useful and handy.

I own 2 Le Creusets pots as well. Excellent in their own right but Staub makes a far more refined product. First dish I made was an authentic Boeuf Bourguignon. The pot browns fantastically. The heating is very even and seems to convect very well. Quite the heavy lid which is ideal for braises. The Staub enamel surface cleans up far easier than the Le Creusets. Some people say they have a problem with being able to tell if they're browning versus burning ingredients and fond. To those I say, get better lighting over your range.
