If you're going to spend the money on an UppaBaby Vista stroller, you might as well purchase the bassinet stand. The bassinet fits perfectly on the stand and allows us to keep the baby in our room at night or we can move the stand around the house while still keeping her in the bassinet. I also like that I can continue to use the stand in the future as a hamper (need to purchase the linen insert, of course). I love UppaBaby products and find that they offer versatility, flexibility and style. Although they are pricey, you pay for what you get and I believe they sell a great product. I haven't had to use their Customer Service yet, but I hear that it's a hassle free experience.

Set up for this bassinet is super easy. We are planning to use the bassinet for the first few months, so wanted to have it elevated versus positioned on the floor. The bassinet attaches very easily to the stand and we like how the stand fits with our furniture and home decor. I don't expect this to have the longest life as a bassinet stand but when we're done with it, we're happy to convert to the most expensive laundry basket imagineable!

This arrived in a box that was badly damaged, and had clearly been shipped to several others prior to arriving at our home. The were permanent marker lines through old shipping labels on the box. After opening it, we realized it was broken...two large screws were exposed on the bottom, wood was broken away from frame, and it didn't hold together. Completely unsafe and scary to send this "new" baby product out for use with a newborn.Besides the awful condition the original product was in, Amazon has been terrible with the return process. The item has been repackaged in the original shipping box (with enforcements) and waiting in our mail room for 2 weeks now, after they said UPS would be by to pick it up. I already received an email saying they received my returned product (they did not) but of course have not been refunded yet. Customer service email replied that I received the email in error, and that they would "follow up everyday" to make sure the return was processed. Still have not heard from anyone, and the package is still waiting to be picked up in mail room.
