All the technical reviews for this drum pretty much say the same thing and all are pretty much true.I love the big bass. The 16" head makes all the difference to me. I sit tall and erect, sometimes stand, so the 27" height makes a big difference to me too.This drum has big sexy physical presence and a big strong voice. Interesting to see who chooses it in a drum circle. Most people shy away from her. Not for wimps or the tentative drummer. ;) Boom!
