The lamp is great for our outdoor kitchen area. Very heavy for those stormy days with high winds!The price is great! After shopping for one, I found this to be the best price.

This is a nicely balanced and reasonably heavy outdoor lamp. It looks great on my outdoor table. The gentle cast of light is very pleasant. I like the choice of shades. I chose to use the less ornate one and am very happy with the look. Good quality and a good buy.

We were looking for a lamp that can pass for the typical side table lamp but with untypical attributes like weatherproof. This one does it well in many aspects. It has mass to it bringing its center of gravity low and robust enough to handle everyday winds. I like the way they did the waterproofing of the bulb. It is an inverted jar design that is big enough to hold even a CFL. The dual candlestick are faux design elements so if you thought you can have dual bulbs, this is not your lamp. This is a single switch and not a three way bulb lamp. The finial is attached to the shade frame and the shade frame is attached to a friction ring that slips over the inverted bulb. The typical design lamps can allow you to lift the lamp by the finial, but if you attempt this, you won't get far. The shade frame will slide off the bulb jar sending the lamp base to the floor. This is not a bad design, since the finial was never intended as a lifting/carry handle, but I thought mentioning it since most people try lifting their lamps that way and this lamp will unpleasantly surprise you. The shade is not round, but rather oval; a design feature the original Amazon profile photo or description fails to convey.I'm in central Florida on the coast, so in a year I will update this lamps corrosive resistant properties.
