Love it!

Love the Alpine Type X 12". Have it paired with an Alpine M1000 amp in a ported ProBox enclosure and it bumps. Got them for a super price from AudioSource (through Amazon). Only downside is they aren't authorized Alpine dealers, so no warranty. But price was too good to pass up.

This Alpine isn't the most efficient sub but it us about the most well built tank-like sub I have owned. I recommend you use 4 gauge or better power wire to power your amps because this sub will pull the power and will hit hard and deep, very deep. I purchased this from an Amazon reseller and I didn't like the fact that the box was open but the product appeared brand new.I tested this sub and it is an absolute monster. Bass reproduction from low volume to mid bass and finally low frequencies are mastered artfully and with excellent transition.This is the subwoofer for the big boys. It's worth spending the extra 30 or 40 more dollars to get this premium sub. However, it requires a lot of power but it will deliver, and that more abundantly.

Hands Down, JL, and Alpine make the best gear, i have had this 12 X for about 3 years not and powered by PDX1.1000 Amp. Great Buy.
