Ok for short distances - not good for long trips

I too did my homework as for reviews comparing this bicycle rack with others offered on Amazon. I chose this one partially because of the reviews plus it was available directly through Amazon and the price was reasonable. I found that this rack was extremely well made and easy to attach to my 1996 Honda Accord. I could also tell that it would be able to fit many cars because of the way it was designed. I also liked this one because of the fact it has two additional hold down straps which attach to the sides of the rear trunk. There is a weak link in this product though. It is the quality of the tightening fasteners on the hold down straps. I loaded up three 26" bikes on the rack, which was a bit of a challenge, but did work well once you get the hang of it. I re-tightened all the straps as instructed in the directions before driving off and felt confident I did a good job. My vacation trip was only 150 miles away and I just happened to stop after about 50 miles to check how the bikes were doing. I found that the straps had loosened up and the rack was not secure. I tightened the straps up again and rechecked in another 50 miles to find the same result. If I hadn't stopped from time to time to check, I wonder what the result would have been. So, because the rack is built so well and is easy enough to use, I gave it three stars rather than less because I feel this rack would work great for short trips. However for longer trips, I definitely would not recommend this rack. It's really a shame they didn't come up with a more efficient strap fastener. I am returning this rack today and will try another brand with a close eye on the type of strap fastener used. Advice to you....no matter what brand you purchase, for long trips be sure to double check how secure your rack is from time to time....Hope this helps.

great rack for the price

I needed a bike rack to transport my bike 1000 miles. I traveled through rain and snow and wind and the bike stayed put. The rack did not vibrate or shake. The bike stayed secure for the entire trip and the vehicle is undamaged in any way. I would buy one of these racks again.

I thought the product was fine - it was what my daughter wanted for the nursery. However, the registered third-party seller named Smart Deals, Inc. really ripped me off on the shipping charges. I ordered this item along with 2 other small, light weight items and standard shipping was nearly $22.00. They were poorly packed in one box and should have cost no more than $10.00 to ship. I would never buy from these people again!

Bad Decision

I bought this mobile thinking it would bo so cute and I was wrong. The canopy top piece of the mobile was fine, but the boats hanging from it looked terrible. The boats looked like oval balls and the stiching also looked of poor quality.

Perfect Replacement, Rediculous Pricing

Unscrew old, screw in new. This was exactly the same as the one I had, the GRAY ST4000MK2 autopilot. Only thing I had to do was drill holes for it to fit on my wheel per number of spokes, but even the inside is already pre-set to accept the drilling. Simple. Plug and play with the old head unit, exactly as I wanted. No need to re-wire, though it does come with 30' of cable.Ridiculously expensive from Raymarine, especially since my old motor was fine, and I needed the plastic bits, but at least the replacement was exact.

One of the few PSUs that provide 40A 5v and 3.3v rails

Powers an ASUS P6T6 MOBO with the Intel I7 965 Extreme Core CPU, dual fans on the cooler, 6GB memory, 5 hard drives, an ATI HD4870, RocketRaid PSI-E and Blackmagic HD Extreme.Neither our old OCZ PowerStream PSU nor a new Corsair HX1000w, each with only 30 amp 5v and 3.3v rails could support the machine. The 5v was pulled down to 4.6 - 4.8 typically, and caused problems.This Real Power PSU is great. The 5v sits at about 5.04 volts.

Almost perfect.

First, I'm just going to throw out that this power supply is an absolute beast.This thing easily roasts my work comp's PSU (poweredge 1900, 2 Xeons, 800W dell "PSU-thing"). I myself have a new-ish gaming rig, and this PSU is rock solid. I've pushed all my OC-able hardware(asus mobo, q9550, 8gb DDR3, GTX260 SC) up past 15-20%, and didn't detect any voltage fudge at all. Not sure if you could triple SLI on this thing (bet you could), but I'm definitely looking forward my 2nd 260! It's not really that noisy, either (not that I could hear it when all my 120mm case fans kick on) and it keeps cool.On the whole, given this power supply's intended application as a high power PSU, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. It is a great choice for a high power machine, though, and the 5-year warranty is a nice touch.My only constructive criticism is that the next-gen of this PSU (any PSU, really) needs selective cable management with plugs to allow you to select only which cables you want. Other PSU's have them. This is the only reason I'm not 101% satisfied, as there are more than a few cables I had to stuff into my case and zip-tie out of the way.Unnecessary Addendum: In the inexplicable case that your bed is next to the back of your computer, you will not be able to sleep due to the bright red LED that indicates PC power off (green when on). You will most likely have to stick some black tape over it, unplug it, or go nuts. I recommend the tape.

Great Condenser Microphone

This was the first condenser microphone I purchased when looking for a USB solution to start a podcast. I chose this microphone for various reasons, but the one that stuck out to me the most was its ability to record in stereo. I know, that might not make sense at first. Why would a podcaster want a microphone to record in stereo? Well, in addition to just doing the solo approach during a podcast, I wanted a versatile microphone that I could use out at events to aide in interviews. With this mic I am able to set it on the tripod provided and place the microphone between me and another person while conducting the interview. During playback the listener will hear two voices on different sides simultaneously, mimicking a real conversation as if the listener was in the middle of it. Perfect.Pros:-Awesome hard case provided with it.-Very solid build on everything included, even the tripod. It all just "feels right"-Ability to record in stereo AND mono-Indicator light lets you know it's working.-Windscreen (NOT a pop filter) is included. Most other manufacturers to not include this.-Low, Med, High attenuation switch on back of microphone to allow adjustments quickly.-USB plug and play works flawlessly-Great documentation providedCons:-Skip the free audio editing software, not worth your time-Windscreen fits a little loose over the mic (could be a problem, ahem...IN THE WIND)-Doesn't seem to have the total audio quality as the AT2020 USB, but it's so close thatyour opinion could be completely different.Overall, in this price range you cannot go wrong with the MXL 007. Highly recommended.

Great microphone, easy to use!

I am a middle school music teacher that works with pro audio in my spare time. I do a lot of work with Pro Tools using professional-quality microphones, but it isn't always convenient to have my DigiRack and/or preamps with me. I got this microphone to record my classroom rehearsals in stereo using Garageband. It is plug and play, and yields great quality recordings, with good lows and highs. For the price, it's definitely worth purchasing!

As a music director, I bought this for its portability to record concerts in stereo. Just hook it up to a laptop computer (plugs into a USB port) and record away - anywhere! The resulting WAV file is already on the computer ready to tweak in Sound Forge. The stereo sound quality is rich and accurate. We have been very impressed.

good skin & good value

I love these scrubbers! I have mild rosacea and although I have been told not to exfoliate my skin --- these scrubbers are the only thing that I have found to work to keep my face clear of blemishes and white heads. Even strangers tell me I look much younger than my real age. I bought a whole case because I am having a hard time finding them locally. I could really see a diference during the time that I was without them. They last about one month each. Great product --- I'll never be without one again!

I just did a review on the 8 in. version of this knife, and thought I would do one on this one as well.All I can say is WOW! I am a sushi chef that has used many knives, and the Kasumi line of knives is a very strong line of knives. (No pun intended)I first bought the 8 in knife, looking for a new roll cutting knife (which it's the best decision I've made in knife buying), which led me to look and then purchase this one.Personally, the combo of the 8 in. and this 10 in. is the best duo I've used standing behind the bar. This knife was exactly what I was looking for.The 8 in. for rolls, and this one for just about everything else (not prepping but in the heat of things).It's well balanced, feels good in my hand, beautiful, and retains a great edge (60 Rockwell Hardness rating).Excellent Knife!

The B&W Hideaway Hitch

I did a lot of comparison shopping for a 2" slide in hitch to use with my F250 truck. The B&W hitch was definitely the best selection. The 3 1/2" adjustable height, plus the "stowaway" feature ("hideaway" capability - no more banged up shins when walking around the rear of the truck!) made this a hitch with great features. And it comes with two different size hitch balls (2" and 2 5/16"). With a 1,000 pound tongue capacity and a 10,000 pound total weight capacity, this hitch beat the competitors all around. Perfect slide in hitch for using with my 14' stock trailer or my flatbed. Adjusting the height of the hitch (to help "level" the trailer tongue for safer, more efficient towing), changing the ball size, or hiding the hitch away when you don't need it, are all easy to accomplish with the provided stainless steel pins. This hitch also looks great! I shopped around for this hitch. Most local truck accessory shops don't have it in stock (4-6 weeks delivery time), and their price was over $225. I purchased it through Amazon and it saved me over $75! Plus it arrived about two days quicker than the advertised delivery time. Great product, great price, great delivery time!

Nice Hitch

I bought this hitch for my new F250 - be careful here because the 250's come with a larger receiver now, and you'll need an adapter sleeve to make it work.The hitch itself is great. Very flexible in use, particularly getting the height right. Everything feels like it's built to last; very sturdy. The pins slide in and out easier than I thought they would. When stowed, presents a nice clean appearance.Also, when I set my camper, once I get it chocked, I can drop the ball out of the hitch without moving my truck. Just a little benefit, but nice.

Perfect rack for my needs

I've used this rack about twice a week for six months now. Works perfectly with the hitch I had mounted on my Civic. I'm in and out of my trunk often for work, and this rack allows for plenty of clearance. Before I bought this on Amazon, I checked out the really expensive brands in the bike stores, and this Hollywood rack seems just as well made for less than half the cost.As a side note, I bought a small steel combination lock at Target that I use in place of my hitch pin - could be used with any rack. Certainly not a guarantee the rack won't disappear, but it's a little extra security for a few bucks so thought I'd mention it.

The mounting of this is easy and holds the bikes secure. Much better than the old rack I had that shook with every bump and turn.

Hollywood for a HHR

Recently bought a Chevy HHR and needed to find the least expensive way to carry up to three bicycles. Car did not have roof rails and by the time that I bought these, cross-rails and bicycle carriers I would have $500+ invested. Went with a class-1 hitch and hitch-mounted rack for about $290. The construction, finish and functionality are top-notch. Mounted it in a Curt hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver and there is no swaying or rattling even with three bikes on board.
