LOOKS AREN'T EVERYTHING...

Truely this is one sharp looking travel bar. Unfortunaly looks alone can not carry this item into first place. If you get a classic "Trav L Bar" I believe you will be happier. First of all the "Picnic Time Manhattan Case" carries only two bottles. While the tradional "Trav-L-Bar" allows three. Both come with glasses and accessories, one might think if you have the 2 bottle Picnic Time Bar, that it would be smaller and lighter. But it isn't, it's bigger and heavier, than the 3-bottle competion. And that is the problem with this unit, it's just to big and bulky to carry around. And that is why I can not give it my stamp of approval, sorry. Ace

Exactly what I was looking for!

My boyfriend had gone to a party once where a guy had an old suitcase that had been modified to hold all the classic ingredients to make a Manhattan. After that, he has been searching to the right suitcase to make his own. After a year of going to thrift stores we just couldn't find one robust enough to hold everything.I had given up and was looking through wine picking baskets for Christmas when I stumbled across this Cocktail Carry on bar, and what do you know, the name even said Manhattan! I ordered it for his Christmas gift, and being a former bartender, he couldn't of been more stoked! He LOVED it! The only thing he said he is going to change is the glasses. He said most pre-prohibition style bars don't use those glasses for Manhattan's anymore, they just use Old Fashion glasses. So we are going to buy some of those and hopefully modify it to fit 4 glasses.All the tool it came with were great, and the suitcase is very sturdy. It is a bit heavy, but it comes with a long strap you can put on it to make it easier to carry. The mahogany color is more of a brown, but it is perfect for that older traditional look.This is exactly what my boyfriend wanted, and he is super happy with his gift!
