Dressy watch, some caveats

I am surprised there is a lack of reviews here. This is a very good looking watch for the price. I'd say its for professional clothes at a white collar job due to it being scratch-able leather. Like all Diesel watches, it's pretty big and heavy. Reasons for 3 stars instead of 51. The thick leather band makes the skin underneath uncomfortably sweaty even in a cold office.2. Leather straps are not as durable as metal (if you wear this 5 days a week, you will probably need a new strap within 16 months).3. The date goes is a little off center so part of a double digit number is under the face. E.g. A double digit like "16" a little bit of the 1 is shaved off.4. The watch is heavy. Annoying, especially with a hot, sweaty wrist.Also, I am not sure if this goes for all non-digital watches with a date but the date goes from 1-31. If the month ends on the 30th, you have to reconfigure the watch's time.

Very Unic Diesel Watch

I had this UNIC Diesel watch added to my collection. This is one of my favorite wear at my office at work. Heavy duty and good looking watch at the same time. Love it.

This wristwatch is unique (I've received a number of positive comments) and can be worn as a dress watch or with casual wear. It is somewhat large, but because the face is wider than it is tall it doesn't look clunky on a smaller wrist. The numbers that list the date are correctly centered on my particular watch (another reviewer received a watch that apparently had the numbers slightly off-center).The "top" of the watch (the area that is farthest from the wrist and includes the face-cover) is rounded so that it doesn't constantly catch on long sleeves - the only downside to this aspect is that the face cover can get scratched. I work in a building with rough brick walls, and must have brushed the watch against the wall on one occasion because the glass face cover now has 3 minor scratches on it.I have owned this watch for more than three years and overall I have been very pleased with the looks, quality and durability of this watch. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.
