C-4 thru C-7 Neck Damage from Domestic Violence, My Review
By Adrienne Devita
I have been to 4 chiropractors and Kaiser Hospital told me my next step was fusing my neck/vertebrae together. I have fractures in my neck, no curve, it goes straight up like a pencil, osteophytes, and disintegrated discs between C4-C7 from my ex who repeatedly strangled me and tried to snap my neck over the course of a few years. (Yes, he is in prison now.)There is help for the spine, but the neck is more difficult. I have the neck device you hang over the door, which was good, but you can cause more damage since you don't know how much pressure you are putting on your neck when you use your body weight to pull your neck down.I just purchased this device and also called the ComforTrac to find out if the other brand name they also sold (much more expensive) was better (the price did not matter to me). The woman told me they were both exactly the same, so I purchased this one.At first, I thought it wasn't strong enough, so I did it about 20 times up and down on full strength. Well, needless to say, it was working and I overdid it. BUT, I can't tell you, I felt like my neck was so light, the pain and pressure on my shoulders was gone after treatment, and now that I am using it correctly ;o), I control the pressure to 30 instead of 50, and I will work my way up to 50.My sister said her chiropractor has a very similar device in New Jersey (no one in Southern California here had one that I went to), so she relied on it when I was visiting and said it worked great for her! She was in a car accident and has 7 herniated discs. If you use this several times per week, and sit there about 20-30 minutes and go up and down about 3-4 times during that time, it will help the pinched nerves and bring blood flow in between your discs and help repair what it can. It's not a miracle machine...it can't cure you, but it certainly can bring you relief from your pain for many years to come!Best Wishes to Everyone!

Tried and true...
By Colleen O
Comfortrac IS comfortable. This product comes with soft, cushiony pads which lessens discomfort to the back of the head/neck. The slider adjustment makes it simple to adjust to different angles which is a nice feature for those of us who have multiple herniated disks. I've tried another device which had padded neck "wedges" but it was extremely uncomfortable!

Great value and great relief
By Jonathan Q. Manning
I just received this device about 5 days ago to help treat a bulging cervical disc. This machine is more comfortable than the one at the physical therapy center I go to, and easier to use. It comes with an add-on pad for extra neck cushioning. The pad makes it more comfortable, but it feels like my head slips through a bit, so I don't use the pad anymore. The kit also comes with a really nice travel bag so you can easily carry it with you to use anytime. In the few days I've had this I've cut the amount of Ibuprofen I take at a time by about 1/3 to 1/2, sometimes don't bother taking any, and sleep a lot better. This is a great device for taking care of your neck, just don't overdo it; build up slowly or it will hurt.
