Excellent shock, great price, easy install in Sienna
By Ramblin Man
I installed these in a 2004 Sienna with 95k miles. The suspension was getting bouncy, especially in the rear. I got these because KYB is the OEM supplier for the Sienna shocks and struts. Removing the old shocks was a breeze with an impact air ratchet for the bottom bolts. Space is tight for the top nut. No room for a hex socket or torque wrench. The shock rod has a hex opening for a hex key, so you can hold it in place while you use a wrench to tighten the nut which comes in the box. I used a flare wrench. If I had a ratcheting wrench, it would have gone a little easier. I Just came back from a 750 mile trip with the van loaded with bins, boxes and bags of household stuff. The shocks worked great and kept the van from porpoising and kept it stable on lane changes in the interstate at speeds up to 80 mph. For the price and free shipping, these were a great deal and as good a price as you'll find anywhere.
