5great cart for more than just dogs
By T Dabney
this is a great cart... very well made. strong durable construction... very large. holds my 92 lb "Bear" and my 120 lb girlfriend... mounts to bike very easily and pulls very smoothly... nice to have the extra pockets to put leash and dogbowl... in an effort to "go green" we ride our bikes to the grocery store and use this cart to haul the groceries back with us. works amazing for this too... one thing everyone should take into play when purchasing any cart would be your dog. consider if your dog will actually go into this thing. this particular cart is very sturdy but a dog that won't enter a kennell cage won't ever consider a cart ride.overall very nice product. would buy again.

5Great product for a good price
By Captainbob
I got my Track'r Large Bike Trailer today, and had it set up and ready to roll in about 10 minutes. As I was was assembling it , which only amounts to attaching the hitch to the rear axle of my bike, snapping the wheels into place and placing a crossbeam in the top rear and tightening, I noticed that it was built very well, and the quality was surprising considering the price. I have a Recumbent bicycle which has 20" wheels and there was some concern that this product might not work with my bike. I called the manufacturer ( Solvit Products), prior to ordering it, and the technical person I spoke to assured me that it would work with my bike, which it did.I installed the mount on my bike in about 2 minutes and I was ready to attach the trailer to the bike. Before I did this, I made my dog comfortable about getting in the trailer by giving her some treats when I called her to jump in. Withing about 5 minutes, she would jump in the trailer on command. Now I hooked it up to the bike, got her inside, zipped the rear closed and attached the strap that is provided to her harness, and off we went. I stopped after a few minutes, and Smokey looked like she was really enjoying the ride. I just rode around the parking lots in my condo complex in order to get used to pulling the trailer, get my dog used to riding in it, and to make sure everything was working properly and safely. The only negative I noticed at first is that it was a bit hard to tow. My dog weighs 45 pounds, so I expected an increase in effort, but this seemed unusual. I stopped, and realized that in my haste to get going, I forgot to put air in the tires. They were almost flat. I pumped them up to the specified 50 PSI, and got back on , and now we were sailing along.I have been cycling for over a half a century, and am used to rides of 50 miles or more on a regular basis. This trailer rides great, there are no negative effects on the handling of the bike other than the expected larger effort to pull the increased load, and increased stopping distance because of the weight. You get used to this pretty quickly. The handling is superb, and turns are no problem. Make sure the back door is fastened per the instructions and that the harness is attached to the trailer with the provided harness. Now instead of leaving my dog home when I go on one of my long rides, I can take her with me. There are a couple of compartments inside for storing water bottles, food, and dog dishes and what have you.As someone else mentioned, I thought that the bottom of the trailer compartment compartment should have been a little stiffer. I went to Home Depot and had them cut a piece of 1/8 plywood, to 30 x 18 inches. Cost was less than $5, and I placed that in the bottom and the cushion on top. Works great...Great product!!!

4Breeces' wheels
By Gotta Love Dogs
We received this bike trailer yesterday and we were very impressed with how easy it is to set up. I bought the kit to convert it so we can push our dog in it. We have a 75 lb golden retriever who has osteosarcoma (bone cancer)in her front leg and is not able to walk for any great distance so this wasjust what we needed to take her for those long walks she has always loved. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bottom of this trailer is not very stable/sturdy. When she got in it she got very scared because of how warbly it was. My husband will put some kind of board underneath it to stabilize that for her and hopefully this will ease her fear. Other than that we really like it and look forward to many miles of walking with her in it.
