Power out the wazzoo (whatever that is)

I use this to power my Cerwin Vega VE-15 3-way 15 inch speakers. This is 800 watts (8ohm) of raw, ceiling-colapsing power. I can never go past 20% volume in my theater room or the walls will start cracking. But with this pairing, even at ear-bleeding levels, everything is clear and precise. I'm using rca connected from my htpc analog outs and it sounds absolutely perfect to me....my only concern is that everytime I turn it on, my UPS backup clicks on for ten seconds because it seems my home wiring can't handle the initial power draw! I'm going to have a dedicated circuit put in soon...

Vega rocks! I have tried other amps and was not at all happy with them. Take this amp and the cls 215 or the xls 215 and rock the house. I own all denon and vega equipment all over my house and will never consider anything else unless someone can compete and so far that has not happened.

Item amplifies without any discernable distortion. We're using this amplifier with an equalizer and two 500 watt speakers. The neighbors to the South have moved out, and the 6 hunting dogs to the North are learning how to bay all night long. Be certain that you need this much power before buying this item, or at least consider hearing aids for your husband. You will also need a helper who can lift and hold 43 pounds when installing item. Our big TV was -><- this far from disaster as our table toppled forward. Amplifier fell out and landed on one corner, bending bracket and handle.
