Nice quality, color not what we expected

I was looking for a nice cabinet island on wheels to go in my kitchen, and this was really the only decent one I could find (and I couldn't find ANY that I could visit in a store to color-compare - they were all online). The price is very good, the quality is nice, especially considering what we paid for it, and my husband was able to set the entire thing up by himself, so I would say that the construction is relatively easy. The drawers are extremely shallow, so you could probably store silverware in it but not most cooking utensils and such. We've been using it for a month now, and it feels very solid. Overall, we're pleased.Our only disappointment is that we were actually looking for a very blonde natural color, to match the off-white and brown brick we have in our kitchen, and from this photo (and, I will admit, other photos of similar items from this company) we were pretty sure that was what we would get. However, the one that we got is extremely golden (almost yellow), so it doesn't match at all, and looks very out of place in our muted kitchen. I was very disappointed, but looking at the photo again, I guess I can see the color going either way, so I inquired about possibly returning it for the oak color before we had even unpacked it. Unfortunately, in addition to return shipping costs, you are also back-charged for the cost to ship to you, and a re-shelving fee. Even with the discount given to Amazon costumers, that adds up to half the total of the item! Without knowing for certain that the oak wouldn't turn out to be more cherry (and thus also not match), we decided against returning it.I am mad at myself, because I bought from Amazon because the price was slightly cheaper, but there are several well-known big-box stores out there that sell this item online for a slightly higher price (with free shipping), but then allow you to return items to your local store at no cost. I wish I had paid a bit extra to be able to return it for free.

Good quality

This cart is made of quality, solid wood and looks great with the granite top. I would recommend using a powered screw-driver or drill to put it together as the screws could be pretty hard to turn with a manual screw driver. With only one exception, everything lined up and fit correctly. When assembling the drawers, I had to take the metal sliding rails off of the drawer sides in order to get at the screw holes which were beneath them. This was not a big deal as they are held on with 3 screws and come off and on easily.
